Chapter 35Â
We walk back towards the pack house; the streets are quiet and dimly lit. My body tingles with the sensation of holding Noah’s hand, and my stomach is doing all sorts of flips. I misjudged him; he’s the sweetest man with the biggest heart. The guys must have mind-linked because they all wait at the bottom of the driveway for us when we approach.Â
“Hey, little one, what have you got there?” Xavier kisses my forehead and tries to peek at the canvas, but I hold it closer to my chest, making him laugh.Â
“I won’t take it from you. Is it special?”Â
“Yeah, it is.” I nod and show him.Â
“You managed to befriend Macey?” He looks shocked. “That pup is so possessive of Noah, I didn’t think she’d let anyone else in.”Â
I look at him, confused because she was the most welcoming little kid.Â
“Yeah, she once bit my hand when I tried to give her a hug.” Haiden laughs.Â
“Would you like me to hang that up for you in your room?” Levi asks.Â
“Yeah…but be super careful with it, okay?”Â
“I will, I promise.”Â
He holds out his hands, and I very carefully pass it to him. True to his word, he holds it like the most valuable item in the world.Â
“So you like the kids?” Xavier holds my other hand as we all make our way back to the packhouse.Â
“I love them. It would have been nice to have such a place in the Tolaris pack when I was growing up. They’re very lucky to have so many people caring for them.”Â
He nods in agreement.Â
After my shower, I find all the guys already lying down in my bed. Levi just finished hanging the canvas up on one of the blank walls, and I can’t help but smile at it. Along with the suncatchers, this is the most I’ve ever had a room decorated. It’s odd how things can give you such feelings.Â
“Come on, Love.” Haiden pats the middle of the bed. “Time to get your beauty sleep.” I climb in between the pile of bodies like this is the most normal thing, and then I fall asleep.Â
“Good morning, doll,” Levi says softly, as I stir awake on his chest. His very bare, chiselled chest… He takes in a long inhale. “Fuck, you smell divine.” I bury my face into his chest to hide the burning brightness ofÂ

my cheeks. Having slept again, surrounded by my mates, I had some very interesting dreams. The mateÂ
bond is going stronger every day, and I know my wolf is coming soon. Gods, how will I control myself when it’s in full force if this is only a dulled sensation of it?Â
“Don’t be embarrassed, doll. The feeling is very much mutual.” I peek open my eyes, and I’m met with a very prominent-looking tent in the sheets.Â
“Oh my gods…”Â
He laughs and kisses my forehead. “We all wake up like this when we’re with you, if you haven’t noticed.”Â
“So, what, it’s going to be like tent city every morning for the rest of my life?”Â

He laughs harder. “Hope you like camping.” He gets out of bed, adjusting said tent in his pants. “I’m going to have a quick shower, then we’ll have breakfast with the others before we head off for the day, okay?”Â
I try not to look at his beautiful morning glory as I respond. “Yep, sounds great.”Â
A shower is definitely what I need right now, because I swear to the gods if I don’t get rid of my own morning frustrations, then today is going to be a very long, hard day.Â
Breakfast is nice, having all of my mates together for the morning. Aleisha and Tommy are also present, but judging by her expression, I either didn’t wash off the scent of my arousal or I added to it by trying to relieve myself in the shower. She looks like she’s having the time of her life, and judging by the looks on my mates’ faces, they’re in pure agony trying to control themselves.Â
Levi.Â
*Fuck, do you guys smell that?* Haiden links us.Â
*It’s intoxicating. * Xavier agrees.Â
*I want to drown in it. * Noah practically whimpers.Â
*Too bad, she’s all mine today. * I shut them all up as I pull a chair out for my mate.Â
*Ours, asshole. * Flint reminds me. Getting closer to the surface to look at our mates’ pretty little blush.Â
“So, considering you guys have just kidnapped my new friend for the last few days. I’m taking Envy tomorrow for myself.” My sister pipes up like she owns the place.Â
There’s a series of protests from me and my brothers and but she holds up her hand.Â
“With her whole world changing and all this extra stress of what’s to come with the Alpha Kings, Mum and I have organised a nice, relaxing day with her. So, if you really want to argue the point, take it up with Mum.”Â

“Fine.” Xavier grunts. We can’t argue with what Mum says. Not unless we want a headache and our assesÂ
kicked.Â
I continue adding more food onto Envy’s plate as she finishes off bits and pieces, and she doesn’t complain. She happily picks up the extra bacon. Gods, I love her appetite. I didn’t choose an outfit for her today like my brothers did. I knew what she would wear if given the choice, and honestly, it’s perfect for our date today. Tights, boots, a simple crop top with a sports bra, I’m assuming. She’s comfortable and ready for what I have planned. When she’s stopped picking up more food, I finish off her bacon and duck into the kitchen to grab the backpack there, which I had stashed last night. Without a word to the others, I hold out my hand to her, and she takes it, getting up from the chair to follow me out. I’m sure she waves at the guys, but I don’t pay them any mind. Today she’s mine:Â
Ours Flint growls.Â
Fine, today she’s ours.Â
