The Whole God Damned World. 

“I was hoping my mate would have a wild side. Now if I can just get us out of this.” One of his hands shifts to that of Hawks and he carefully begins slicing away at the ropes until they fall completely slack, but I don’t move off him. Not as my hands rest on his chest and I can feel the thudding of his heartbeat picking up at the contact. The familiar buzz of our bond flows through me as I look down at my dare devil mate. I lean down slowly, and his eyes flutter shut as my nose brushes his. It was supposed to be an innocent, chaste kiss but the moment our lips connect, a burst of sparks ignites inside me. His hands roam my back and through my hair to hold me in place as his tongue dances along mine and his soft moans of pleasure add to the excitement of the day. I pull back, needing air for breathing and what not and he brushes a stray hair from my ponytail back around my ear. 

“You are truly perfect, love. I don’t know how I ever deserved to get so dam lucky.” 

I blush, unsure of how to take his compliment but he doesn’t wait for an answer as he sits up and I move to allow him to stand, shaking off the last pieces of ropes and cords. 

“Alright, we have just a few more things to do today before we have to start heading back.” He checks his watch as I look around. 

“Where are we?” 

“Close to a human city, about three hours drive away from Red Moon lands now.” 

“Three hours? Wow. That’s the furthest I’ve ever been.” 

“Really? You didn’t travel to the other packs for Tolaris?” 

“Nope, didn’t need to. My place was always on the border, up until I was sent to your pack.” 

“Our pack.” He corrects me as we walk through the tree lines to the top of a hill that overlooks a massive city. I’ve never seen something so established before. I thought the size of Red Moon was impressive, but this, this is otherworldly. 

“I’m not sure I know how to run a pack…” 

“You’ll be a great luna, love. You just can’t see it yet, but you will. I promise you; I’ll be by your side every day. Every worry that you have, I’ll make it my personal mission to make you feel secure.” 

“You’re a little bit of a whirlwind yenno.” 

“Do you like whirlwinds?” He smirks. 

“I’d be lying if I said it’s not fun.” 

We end up at a large warehouse with a sign that says, “Go Karts.” With an imagine of a miniature looking

car…thing. When we step inside, I see a large race track that goes inside and outside and up and around. 

“We’ll get some lunch first, then I’m going to enjoy beating your ass on the track.” Haiden nudges my 

shoulder. 

“Oh you are so fucking on!” 

Theres a dingy looking café to the side that sell the mostly delicious works burger I’ve ever had, that along with a strawberry milkshake and I’m utterly satisfied and buzzing with excitement to get into one of these little death traps we’ve been watching. Their helmets they provide are crappy quality and smell like a million peoples heads have used them, and the death traps smell like lawn mowers but the speed on them is impressive as we watch other people zoom past us. By the time we’re set up to go the last of the people on the track clear out so it’s just me and my whirlwind alpha mate getting ready to go. 

The lights ahead flash, signing to and I shove my foot to the floor and jolt forward. Haiden is right beside me until we hit the first corner where he zooms to the inner lane and passes me, but by the next turn I’ve taken over him. We both see to have a very competitive nature because he is fucking relentless in his efforts and I’m thriving in this game of cat and mouse. By the end of it I win, Haiden complains its because of his dodgy cart but a win is a win for me and I take it, happily dancing around him in my victory.
