Chapter 59 Gideon’s Dress Hunt for the Woman
“Wait a minute. Is that who I think it is? I must be seeing things. Mrs. Lidell, how did you end up being dragged out of there?” Betty asked in a loud voice.
Regina’s face instantly flushed red with embarrassment. Ever since the Lidell family rose to prominence, had she ever been this embarrassed?
“What a coincidence, Mrs. Lindberg. You’re here, too,” Regina said, forcing a faint smile.
”
“Mrs. Lidell, how did you end up being kicked out?” Betty asked again, eyes wide with disbelief.
Glancing at the judging eyes all around her, Regina only resented Betty.
However, she had no choice but to wear a practiced smile. She replied, “Nanette just told us that Raine might actually be the champion of the upcoming Riversdale Piano Competition. We got a little too excited and accidentally caused chaos in the store.”
The moment the name Nanette was mentioned, many people around revealed looks of shock and
awe.
“You know Nanette?” Betty asked, clearly skeptical.
Raine had already adjusted her clothes before flashing a slight, graceful smile. With an elegant charm, she said, “Ms. Nanette has been my mentor for over a week now.”
At that moment, whispers of disbelief and awe spread through the crowd.
“No way… It looks like Raine really is gifted. To be accepted as Nanette’s protege… That has to be
the first time Nanette had ever taken someone in!”
“Absolutely! Raine truly is Riversdale’s number one socialite.”
“Not only are the Lidells‘ fortunes soaring, but their daughter, Raine, is exceptional as well. I’m really jealous!”
The flattering voices from all sides made Regina straighten her back and lift her gaze with pride as she looked at Betty.
“The National Piano Competition is coming up soon. Mrs. Lindberg, if you have time, you should come and watch.”
Betty’s mouth twitched, clearly annoyed.
Did Regina really have to brag about it?
Betty couldn’t believe that Raine had become Nanette’s protege, and she walked away in a huff.
Regina then went to another high–end boutique and bought Raine a nice dress.
Raine asked, “Mom, should we get Nancy some new clothes, too?”
Regina’s anger still hadn’t faded She replied, “Why would I buy her anything? I always thought she was just uneducated, but I never imagined her character to be that awful.

“I can’t believe she teamed up with the manager just to trick us! I’m sure Martha never expected to misjudge someone like this!”
There was no way she would think highly of Nancy, who couldn’t possibly be a VIP client at
Dazzling Boutique.
At the VIP lounge, Nancy was addressing the staff members of Dazzling Boutique.
“I apologize, Graham. You and that lady looked alike, so I thought you two were family! I’m really sorry about what happened. Next‘ time, I won’t let them in again!” The manager kept apologizing to Nancy.
Nancy said indifferently, “It’s fine. Let’s take a look at the new arrivals.”
“Alright,” the manager replied before carefully hanging up the garments.
Under the lights, the navy fishtail gown shimmered like a beautiful mermaid’s tail. Its embedded diamonds sparkled brilliantly, captivating everyone’s gaze.
The manager was excited. “Graham, your new designs just keep getting better and better. This dress already has over a hundred reservations from top clients!”
Nancy was satisfied with the outcome as well. “Yes, I agree,” she said.
Just then, a store assistant approached and whispered a few words into the manager’s ear.
The manager’s expression shifted slightly. After the store assistant left, he said to Nancy,” Graham, an important client just arrived. I might need to personally greet them.”
“It’s fine. You may go now.”
After the manager left, Nancy sipped her tea for a while. She was feeling a little hungry at that moment, so she prepared to go out for a meal.
As she walked out of the lounge, she saw a striking, tall figure with broad shoulders and a slender waist. His silhouette was even more captivating and sexier than a model’s.
Nancy then noticed the rosary beads on his wrist.
Just as she thought, black gemstones suited him perfectly.
The man’s presence gave off a powerful, almost overwhelming air. Paired with the rosary, it created a strong sense of contradiction.
As Gideon was about to turn his head, Nancy instinctively went to hide behind the door.
She overheard Gideon talking to the store manager at this moment.
“Mr. Fuller, are you here to look at men’s suits or women’s dresses?
“Women’s dresses,” Gideon replied.
