Chapter 58 Nancy Was the True VIP
“You!” Regina angrily shouted.
Raine’s expression also soured, but she quickly smoothed it over with a warm smile.
She said, “Nancy, you don’t understand what it means to be a socialite, and that’s fine. Mom and I will slowly help you fix those bad habits of yours.”
Regina tightened her grip on Raine’s hand.
Deep down, she was very irritated. She had looked forward to meeting her biological daughter, but she hadn’t expected her to come with such a sharp tongue.
If it weren’t for Raine standing nearby, Regina would’ve been furious enough to blow her top!
The more she thought about it, the more Regina cherished Raine.
She coldly said, “Since you clearly haven’t learned, stop eating for now. Only after you’ve mastered the basics of proper etiquette can you have tea and pastries!”
Nancy ignored her and kept eating the bite–sized sponge cakes.
Regina’s hands clenched in anger.
Raine sighed in resignation as she patted Regina’s hand. Then, she turned to the approaching manager and said softly, “Nancy, you only got in here because of us, yet you treat Mom like this. I have no choice but to send you outside to wait for us.”
With that, she looked to the manager with a polite smile. “Hello, this young lady isn’t with us. Would you please show her out?”
As she spoke, her eyes swept briefly over Nancy’s face.
Nancy might look composed right now, but once she got kicked out, she would be the one
embarrassed.
The manager hesitated. “You want this young lady to leave?”
The manager was confirming if it was really Nancy whom they wanted out.
“Yes,” Raine replied as she nodded.
The manager was stunned. Looking at Nancy, he was clearly unsure what to do.
Regina said, “Nancy, I’ll give you one last chance. Speak politely with us, and you can stay. Otherwise, you’ll have to leave and wait for us outside!”
She fixed her glare on Nancy.
Who in the world had such audacity? She was showing up at someone else’s VIP lounge and acting like it was totally normal!
Nancy quietly wiped the chocolate from her hands. Then, she said, “Mrs. Lidell, you’re the ones who should leave *

“Huh? What did you just say?” Regina frowned, speechless.
Raine was also caught off guard. “Nancy, don’t stir trouble,” she warned.
Nancy lazily glanced at the manager, who immediately snapped back to attention.
“Alright. You two, please leave,” said the manager.
Raine and Regina both froze for a moment.
Frowning, Raine asked, “Are you sure you’re not mistaken? We’re the Lidells, and she’s just a hick.”
Hick? The manager glanced at Nancy with a start.
Nancy sipped her fine tea with grace, her presence carrying the air of a distinguished, century–old
noble.
The manager was stunned speechless. Were these two really looking down on Nancy? Did they actually think Nancy was just a hick?
“No offense, but Gra–this young lady is one of our VIP clients. Since you two clearly aren’t on the same side, I need you two to leave!” the manager said firmly.
Regina and Raine stood frozen in place.
After a few seconds had passed with no response from Raine, the manager ordered security to pull
them away.
Regina struggled as she shouted, “Let me go!”
She looked at Nancy and yelled, “Nancy, what exactly are you trying to do here?”
Raine found it hard to believe. “Nancy, are you working with the manager to trick us?”
Regina said, “Nancy, you’re so childish! Get their hands off me, now!”
Nancy only thought they were too noisy. She waved her hand, and the security personnel
immediately dragged them away.
They were kicked out of Dazzling Boutique, instantly drawing the attention of everyone nearby.
As luck would have it, Betty Lindberg, Regina’s rival, happened to walk by.
