Chapter 32 The Comeback
Positive reviews for Duran Corporation were flooding the internet.
“I’ve been using Duran for just three days, and my facial sensitivity has calmed down so much! My skin doesn’t turn red or irritated as easily anymore.
”
“Is Duran really that good? I’m definitely buying some to try it out.”
“Everyone needs to get their hands on Duran! The ingredients are genuinely impressive. My dad’s an expert. Even he says it’s good, so it must be.”
“Honestly, Blossom’s new product doesn’t seem that effective, and it’s ridiculously expensive.”
“I bought Duran because Blossom was overpriced, and I’m shocked at how amazing the results are.

Three days was all it took for people to notice the difference.
On Nancy’s side, Clara still looked uneasy. “Ms. Moore, weren’t you a bit too impulsive just now?”
“Trust us,” Nancy said, her beautiful eyes brimming with conviction.
Something in Nancy’s tone stirred Clara, and her own resolve firmed. “Alright.”
As they ate skewers, time ticked by. The one–hour deadline was down to the last three minutes, and Duran was still a million short of their sales goal.
“You’ve lost,” Winter announced, stepping forward.
“There are still three minutes left. What’s the rush?” Nancy replied calmly.
“Three minutes? And you think you can make a million in that time? Don’t be ridiculous.” Winter sneered, though irritation flickered across her face. She hadn’t expected Duran’s sales to grow so quickly.
In fact, some of Blossom’s customers had even begun asking for refunds.
However, it didn’t matter. If Winter won this bet, Duran would be forced to publicly admit that they couldn’t compete with Blossom. After that, no one would buy their products again.
All eyes were on the countdown, and the air was thick with tension.
Meanwhile, Clara fixed her eyes on their sales figures.
“One minute left, and you’re still 400 thousand short,” Winter remarked with a faint smirk, her eyes gleaming with unshakable confidence.
She had to admit that pulling in 300 thousand in just one minute was impressive. But she was certain that they’d never make 400 thousand in the final stretch.
Everyone watched the seconds slip away. In the final ten seconds, a few people even began counting down out loud.
Clara’s palms were slick with sweat.

Nancy, however, stayed composed, her gaze fixed steadily on the sales figures.
“You’ve lost!” Rebecca declared triumphantly.
But a heartbeat later, her eyes went wide in disbelief.
Duran’s sales had just surpassed theirs by 100 thousand.
In those last few seconds, they had pulled in hundreds of thousands in sales.
Winter’s expression darkened. “Impossible. You must have used bots to boost the sales!” Nancy’s lips curved into a faint smile. “Why don’t you just keep watching?”
They exchanged suspicious glances, but sure enough, Duran’s sales kept climbing at a staggering
pace.
In just one minute, they achieved a million sales, leaving everyone stunned.
And the numbers were still rising.
“No, this can’t be!” Winter gritted her teeth, her glare fixed on Nancy. “I don’t believe it. You must have pulled some tricks!”
Clara’s heart, which had only just begun to settle, started pounding again in anger. “Ms. Seabourne, we had a deal. Are you going back on your word? If you think we cheated, then investigate! Come back with proof instead of throwing around baseless accusations!”
“Exactly,” Hannah added. “Ms. Seabourne, are you really going to be a sore loser?”
Winter’s eyes burned with fury. “I’ll investigate. If I find any evidence of fraud, you’ll lose the bet.”
“Then by all means, investigate now,” Nancy replied casually. “With your influence, Ms. Seabourne, I’m sure it wouldn’t take more than a few minutes to find out.”
“Just you wait,” Winter snapped, pulling out her phone.
Ten minutes later, she received a call back. “Miss, there’s no sign of sales fraud.”
Winter’s face blanched. “Are you sure you checked thoroughly?”
“I’m sure,” the person on the other end said.
Her grip tightened around the phone. After a few seconds, she lowered it slowly.
Nancy, who had been watching the entire exchange, said with a faint smile, “It seems that Ms. Seabourne has her answer”
