A wave of scolding and insults hit her. 

“I knew it. How could Raine make such a basic mistake?” 

“Raine is just too kind. Her kindness makes people take advantage of her!” 

“Minerva is truly vicious. Will Lidell Group continue to keep a designer like her?” 

“Remember her name. Everything she creates from now on will probably be plagiarized.” 

Minerva endured the torrent of insults, squeezing her eyes shut to keep the tears from falling. Her career as a designer was effectively over. 

Regina and the others finally exhaled in relief. They always knew Raine would never do something like this. Yet, a complicated feeling lingered in their hearts, one they couldn’t quite 

name. 

Violet and the other models also felt relieved. They knew Nancy would never plagiarize. And after this, their own reputations would rise. 

However, Felicia looked down at the plagiarized dress she was wearing and felt an unbearable itch, as if ants were crawling all over her skin. 

As a top model, she never imagined having to wear such a dress, and the thought of how people would judge her once she stepped outside made her feel utterly humiliated. 

At that moment, she and the other models looked at Violet and the others with envy, feeling a sharp pang of regret. 

“Our company will never keep a designer who plagiarizes! I hereby announce that Minerva is fired and will never be employed here again!” Andrew’s voice rang out decisively. 

Applause erupted from the audience. 

Raine felt a wave of relief, then shot Nancy a sharp glare. 

After the show ended, everyone gradually left the stage. 

As Raine passed Nancy, she asked, “Nancy, do you think you’ve already won? We’re judging by the final sales figures, not the show.”

“Shana, this dress looks perfect on you. Do you want to get one?” Raine smiled and said to a socialite, Shana Harrison. 

Shana blushed slightly. “Raine, my allowance is a bit tight lately.” 

“That’s okay. This dress isn’t expensive. You can definitely afford it,” Raine said firmly. 

Seeing Shana’s conflicted expression, she added, “Since we’re friends, I can give you a 20% 

discount.” 

Shana’s expression remained complicated. After a moment, she said, “Actually, I was already planning to buy Nancy’s dress. I think it suits me perfectly.” 

Raine’s smile stiffened at the corners of her mouth. 

“Sorry, Raine. I’m going over there,” Shana added. 

She had seen Nancy explaining her designs to the others and immediately walked toward her, worried that she might miss out. 

A crowd had gathered around Nancy, leaving barely any room to move. 

On the other hand, Raine stood almost invisible, with hardly anyone stopping to look at her designs. 

If she hadn’t taken the initiative to ask, no one would have paid attention to her designs. 

She felt a tightness in her chest, wondering why things had turned out this way. It had never 

been like this before. 

“Raine, I’m buying one!” Fergus came over, looking at her with concern.

Hannah helped Nancy record each purchase. 

The scene drew admiration from many, and people couldn’t help but look at Nancy with 

respect. 

Regina stood not far away, her expression unreadable. 

Someone beside her asked, “Mrs. Lidell, Nancy is so talented. Her family must be influential as well. But I’ve never heard anything about them. You know which family she comes from, don’t you?” 

Regina opened her mouth but couldn’t reply. 

The person continued, “Could it be the Moore family?”
