Chapter 10
“You’re despicable!” Hayden roared, glaring at Jeremy with murderous intent.
I grabbed the water glass from a table nearby and hurled it at Jeremy. Blood instantly streamed down his
forehead.
*Jeremy, you’re nothing but a shameless bastard! I regret ever knowing you. Not everyone will stoop as low as you. If this is how you see me, then we have nothing left to say!” I shouted.
I took Hayden’s hand and left without looking back. This time, he reached out, only to pull his hand back.
again.
Only after we stepped out did the prickling sensation on my back finally fade. I looked over my shoulder.
However, Hayden blocked my line of sight. “Luna, your Alpha is over here.”
I paused for a moment, feeling a bit exasperated. “Is this jealousy? I’m already your Luna. What are you
afraid of?”
He said nothing and only pulled me closer. Although he tried to hide it, he couldn’t help the faint smile tugging at his lips.
I couldn’t help but smile and wrap my arms around his waist. He looked at me in shock before embracing
me even tighter. “Shirley, I’ll love you forever.”
After that, I never saw Jeremy again. I reckoned he had no time to seek me out because of Rebecca.
In fact, things escalated far beyond what I had imagined.
After Rebecca was admitted to the hospital, she snatched a scissors from the nurse and threatened to
take her life. She wanted to make a scene to coerce Jeremy into staying with her and keeping the pup.
Jeremy was forced to acknowledge both her and the pup, but the damage to his reputation was done, and his pack turned against him.
A few days later, it was revealed that Jeremy wasn’t even the father of Rebecca’s pup. During that reunion
party, Rebecca had been with someone else before returning to the hotel that night.
The entire pack erupted into an uproar, demanding that he be stripped of his Alpha title and exiled with
Rebecca,
Both of them were cast out as Rogues, only to be rejected and mistreated by other Rogues as well.
I felt indifferent when Hayden informed me of this news. To me, it seemed like karma.

A few days later, I ran into Jeremy again. He was nothing but skin and bones, while Rebecca looked rather plump.
Jeremy smiled self-mockingly when he saw how wary I was. His eyes were filled with lingering affection for me. “Shirley, don’t worry. I won’t disturb you anymore.”
I was satisfied with that outcome and thought little more of it.
Not long after, I heard Rebecca had died. It turned out Jeremy had grown to resent her and killed her cruelly.
Jeremy forced the pup out and smashed it to death before her eyes, then left her to bleed out and die.
After doing that, Jeremy left behind a suicide note saying how guilty and sorry he was to me. He then tried to take his life.
However, his ex-pack members didn’t want him to die so easily. Thus, Jeremy was forced to live without any freedom or dignity.
Soon, Jeremy went crazy. He was often heard calling my name and apologizing.
As for the so-called suicide note, I didn’t open it. Instead, I threw it into the fireplace and watched it turn into ash.
Although Hayden didn’t say it out loud, I knew he was pleased.
That night, I received a letter about Hayden’s love for me over the years. My vision blurred with tears when I looked through it.
Hayden embraced me and kissed away my tears. “Shirley, I swear on the Moon Goddess that I’ll only love you for my entire life.”
