The next morning, the butler brought Isabella a gown, saying it was for her anniversary dinner with Alexander. He had already arranged the venue.
As promised, Isabella arrived.
It was the Skyline Revolving Restaurant, a place she had mentioned wanting to visit many times.
She spotted Ivy sitting next to Alexander immediately and frowned. “This is our wedding anniversary. Why did you invite her?”
Alexander’s expression was calm. “Two or three, it’s no big deal. More people makes it livelier.”
Livelier…
Isabella laughed sarcastically. “But three of us together… don’t you think it might be a little…
close?”
Before she could finish, Alexander’s face darkened sharply, as if she was being unreasonable
again.
Ivy stormed out. “Fine! Ms. Miller doesn’t want me here, I’m leaving!”
She ran off, and Alexander hurried after her.
Isabella stared at their backs for a long time. The tear streaks on her face had dried. She picked up
the phone Alexander had forgotten and walked out.
Passing the restroom, she heard faint noises from inside.
Curious, she peered in and saw Alexander holding Ivy on the edge of the sink, their bodies pressed close together.
“Why run off without a word? Today is our wedding anniversary, and I picked this place just for
you.” Alexander gently nibbled at Ivy’s lip.
Ivy blushed shyly, then sighed. “Forget it. I don’t want to upset your wife.”
“You’re the one who’s legally my wife.”
With that, his movements became more intense. Ivy let out a small, instinctive moan.
Alexander teasingly asked, “Already feeling it?”
Ivy’s face flushed deep red, her legs tightening around his waist.

Isabella didn’t remember how she walked out. Her chest kept twisting, until the pain numbed her.
All these years of marriage, and this was the first time Alexander had remembered their
anniversary.
But it wasn’t for her. It was for Ivy.
It was on this day a few years ago that he and Ivy obtained their marriage certificate, officially making them husband and wife.
She was nothing but an intruder.
She ate the cold food on the table in tiny bites. She didn’t know how much time had passed when
Alexander finally returned.
A hint of apology in his voice, “Sorry, I just got a call… it ran long…”
He didn’t even have his phone with him. How did he make a call?
Isabella smiled bitterly to herself, but she no longer wanted to expose him. Whatever. She
thought. It doesn’t matter.
Ivy returned a little later, her cheeks still flushed. Alexander then ordered the evening’s event to
begin.
The play depicted a couple who had met young and grown to love each other over time.
Alexander turned to Isabella with a smile. “It’s okay that you lost your memory, Isabella. These are all our past moments. I’ll make you remember them, again and again.”
Isabella gave a cold smile.
Those memories were never hers. No matter how hard they tried to act them out, she couldn’t
recall them.
Ivy across from her was sobbing, completely lost in the moment.
While watching the play, tears streamed down her face as she brushed them away, her expression
full of emotion and sweetness.
Alexander’s gaze slowly drifted to Ivy, eyes brimming with deep affection.
A sharp pang stabbed at Isabella’s chest. Bitterness welled up inside her, making it hard to breathe.
Their past together must have been so happy, she thought.

Happy enough to linger in their memories even now.
She closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face.
When she came back to herself, Alexander was watching her with a smile. “So… remember now?
Did it move you this much?”
“Yes… I remember.”
Not wanting to watch Ivy flaunt her affection in front of her, Isabella deliberately said,
“Alexander, today really surprised me. Thank you for going through so much for me. I really like
it.”
Then, she pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek.
Alexander stiffened but didn’t pull away.
Ivy’s eyes flashed with a flicker of jealousy.
Isabella noticed her lips moving silently. A bad feeling gripped her. Before she could react, Ivy
knocked over the candlestick beside her.
“Crash!”
At the last moment, Alexander rushed to scoop Ivy into his arms, carrying her out of harm’s way.
Isabella watched helplessly as the candlestick toppled toward her.
Just before she fainted, she saw Ivy safely in Alexander’s arms and mouthed silently once more, “Let’s see… who he’ll save.”
