The next morning, Alex called Jessica.
“Alex..h–how can you leave me alone in the hotel room? Have you found Elena’s truth yet?”
“Yes, that is why I don’t have any time for your tantrums. Get ready I will be there to pick up you soon.”
Jessica paced outside the clinic where Alex informed her that Elena had an appointment as well.
“Why am I even here?” Jessica asked, tossing her maternity report into her bag. “You have already seen everything Alex- Elena and Damien are together, those children belong to your brother-”
Alex shot her a glare. “Just do as I say.” Jessica gritted her teeth, regretting that she chose Alex between the Giovanni brothers, now that she was pregnant and was also controlled by the Dawson family, she had no choice but to follow Alex’s orders.
She rolled her eyes but got out of the car anyway, getting in the clinic.
I was waiting for the doctor’s call when Jessica arrived, her eyes not trying to hide the malice for me anymore.
“Well, well, look who is here.” Jessica said, her voice dripping with mock sweetness. “How are the twins in your belly sister?” I went pale with fright, my arm quickly covering my stomach protectively.
“How do you know? What do you want, Jessica?”
Jessica leaned closer, her voice lowering. “Just thought I should stop by and remind you that while you are playing house alone, I am raising Alex’s child- his heir. Remember your place and don’t even dare to compete with my child for your little orphans.”
My eyes remained calm, but the moment she insulted my children I could not endure anymore.” All your life you have been just a fake, and now you are competing with children who aren’t even born yet, there is no limit to how low you can get Jessica.” Jessica’s smirk faltered for a moment before she recovered.
“If I stooped low then you are no better than me. Let me tell you honestly Elena, you almost had me for a moment, that stupid man did not show up for our wedding, telling me that he would go search for you but remember this- you can never have Alex.
I will never let that happen. I have everything that you can’t even dream of and my child too will have everything too, just wait for me.

Earlier I was only suspicious when your biological brothers showed the photos, but now I know for sure that these children that you are carrying don’t belong to Alex and not only me but now Alex also knows about the dirty seed you are carrying-”

you speak another word I promise that I will kill you.” Damien’s face turned cold as his voice got low in wrath, the temperature of the ward froze with his threat making Jessica unable to make another sound.
“Tell your bastard boyfriend that sooner or later Elena would be mine, and unlike him I would never leave her side. Damian Giovanni would belong to Elena and no one else. The innocent children you are insulting, it’s alright if Alex doesn’t accept them because just like you said I will name them as mine!” My lips trembled in surprise. “Yes! It was my life long regret to lose Elena.” Damien said without hesitation. “Give my thanks to Alex, the woman I have always desired will be soon with me because of his folly.”
