Wayne’s voice was teary as he practically stumbled into the villa, clutching a freshly printed press release.
Edward waved him off irritably, his brow furrowed with annoyance.
“Calm down! What does Cater’s press conference have to do with us? David’s marrying Saman…”
His words died in his throat as his eyes locked onto the headline of Wayne’s press release:
[Cater Heir David Carter Publicly Declares Pursuit of Donna Rodriguez!]
He froze as if struck by lightning, snatching the paper. His knuckles whitened, eyes bulging as he stared at the words.
“How? How could this be? Why would David suddenly marry my wife? Just last night he…”
His face darkened with dawning realization, voice trembling with betrayed fury and faint panic.
“Is he insane?! Stealing my wife!”
A deliveryman arrived then. “Mr. Edward Clark? Package from Ms. Donna Rodriguez. Please sign.”
Already seething, Edward snapped: “Get lost! I don’t want any…”
He froze mid–sentence, suddenly recalling Donna’s icy “Think what you want” before hanging up.
A terrible premonition seized him.
Edward ripped open the box violently.
An engagement ring clattered onto the floor.
His pupils constricted.
An invisible fist clenched his heart.
She… returned the ring?!
How dare she?!
Then thick photographs spilled out, scattering around the ring.
His gaze dropped to the first photo: Samantha in a revealing bikini, nestled against a muscular male model beside a pool. They were locked in a passionate kiss, Samantha’s hand slipping under the model’s waistband!
Timestamp: Three months ago–when he’d made Donna brave a storm to fetch Samantha’s necklace.
Second photo: In a dimly lit lounge, Samantha straddled a silver–haired model, face ecstatic as her hands wandered…

Timestamp: His anniversary with Donna–when he’d skipped her grandfather’s grave visiting for a “crucial meeting“.
Third. Fourth. Each photo slapped Edward harder than the last.
Samantha coiled around different men in increasingly explicit poses.
Timestamps spanned years–their entire “secret romance” period.
“No… impossible…”
His “pure” Samantha had been cheating? Not just behind his back–under his nose? With these lowlife models?!
Those nights she excused as “girls‘ night out” or “needing rest due to illness“…
Turned out to be spent…
“Ah-!!”
Edward let out a beast–like roar of agony!
He grabbed those photos, frantically trying to tear them apart!
But the laminated surfaces rendered his efforts useless!
Meanwhile, clueless Samantha approached triumphantly, attempting to embrace him.
“Edward, even though my sister’s allergic to mangoes, I really want mango cake today. Could you please get it for me?”
“Get lost! Damn bitch, get away from me!”
Edward summoned all his strength and hurled that stack of shame–branded photos straight at her delicate, innocent face!
“NO… this isn’t me!” Samantha cried out in disbelief. “Edward, let me explain! These are photoshopped! Someone framed me!”
Samantha completely broke down, screaming hysterically as she lunged to grab Edward’s arm. Tears, terror, and the despair of exposure mingled on her face.
But Edward shoved her away violently as if escaping a deadly plague, storming off without a backward glance.
“Get the car! Now!”
“Mr. Clark! Where are you going, sir?!”
Assistant Wayne was terrified out of his wits.
“Find her! I need to find her! Bring her back to me! She’s mine. Donna belongs to me. No one else gets to claim her.”
