Caroline’s POV
I had just arrived at the hospital that morning when I noticed something was wrong.
Several nurses were pointing and whispering behind me, discussing in hushed tones.
I approached and overheard a nurse saying, “I can’t believe Ms. Warren faked her fall; poor Dr. Sutton must have been wrongly accused.”
“Who made Ms. Warren’s boyfriend, Mr. Hamilton, the victim of a hit and run? It can only be Dr.
Sutton’s bad luck!”
“Before, Ms. Warren accused Dr. Sutton of stealing her bracelet, now it appears that it is very likely…”
The nurse hadn’t finished speaking when the person next to her seemed to see something; their face suddenly changed drastically, and they quickly reached out to stop her from saying what she was about to say.
The nurses present saw me, looked at each other, and felt embarrassed.
After all, they had received my gifts, but now they were talking behind my back…
I concealed the coldness in my eyes, walked towards the nurse station, and acted as if nothing had happened, with a smile on my face.
“What video is it? Can I take a look?”
The nurse hesitated for a moment before reluctantly handing over her phone.
As soon as I saw the video, my expression changed suddenly.
How is it possible!
This surveillance footage has clearly been deleted by me!
“Who posted this video?”
Two nurses glanced at each other and shook their heads.
“It came from the executive team, saying… clearing Dr. Sutton’s name…”
My face turned slightly pale.
Executive team…
I knew that those few high–level executives were connected to Jaxson.
Did he also find out about this surveillance video?
I did it so discreetly; who could it be in the end!

Suddenly, a person flashed through my mind.
Charlotte. Yes! It was definitely her!
Meanwhile, in the dean’s office.
David naturally saw the surveillance video.
He tightened the lid of the thermos cup and looked at Charlotte, saying with deep emotion, “Charlotte, I know I have caused you a lot of grievances during this time. Originally, I wanted to keep you, but…”
