“Your precious sister Nicole is threatening to jump off your company’s rooftop right now.”
Daniel placed his live–streaming phone on the table.
Nicole’s hysterical shrieks pierced the air, “Stop pushing me!
Jerry was always mine–it was that homewrecker Pamela who stole him!
Pamela’s the seductress!”
“When Jerry knelt outside as punishment, only I stayed with him.
He promised to protect me and build us a home.
Without Pamela, we’d be a happy family!”
Raymond’s panicked voice echoed behind her, “Nicole, come down! Jerry’s your biological brother!”
His words only fueled her rage, “This is all your fault! You all lied to me!”
She inched closer to the edge, “Do you approve of us being together?”
Raymond desperately yelled, “Yes! I approve!”
“So Jerry and I aren’t blood–related, right?”
Madness flickered in Nicole’s eyes.
Raymond had no choice but to comply.
Suddenly, Jerry’s phone rang–Nicole was calling.
“Brother! We can be together now! Where are you? Come marry me!”
Her voice trembled with delirium.
Jerry frowned, forcing calm, “Alright, come down. I’m downstairs.”
“You’re lying! Your car isn’t here.”
He stood abruptly, “Wait for me.”
Before leaving, he whispered to me, “Sorry, Pamela.”
Nicole overheard.

She erupted, “You’re with that bitch Pamela! I heard her!
Pamela, why aren’t you dead yet!”
“Nicole! Enough! I came to discuss divorce with Pamela.”
Jerry’s voice hardened unusually.
“Seems I interrupted your rekindled romance. Maybe I’ll just jump. Hehe…”
Her feigned madness terrified Jerry.
“Nicole, don’t! How can I prove it to you?”
“Then tell Pamela she’s the seductress who stole you! Swear you’ll never see her again!”
Silence hung heavy as Jerry’s eyes met mine, desolate.
He knew those words would end us forever.
Nicole seized his Achilles‘ heel, counting down sweetly,
“Five seconds, brother. Five… four… three…”
Jerry closed his eyes, stumbling over the words.
“Pamela… is a seductress. She… stole me. I’ll never… see her again.”
Jennifer clenched my hand while Daniel wrapped an arm around me.
Both siblings splashed water in Jerry’s face.
Only fear of provoking Nicole’s jump stopped them from throwing punches.
Nicole finally purred, “Good boy. I’ll wait here for you.”
Jerry knelt to apologize before leaving.
Soon, his figure appeared on the live stream.
Nicole was saved–but immediately confined at the Miller Manor.
Afterward, I resumed work, yet interns kept delivering vibrant bouquets daily.
“The gentleman Jerry sent flowers again,” she stammered, “he’s still waiting downstairs.”
I didn’t even look up. “Next time flowers arrive, whoever likes them can keep them. Don’t bring them to me–my boyfriend wouldn’t like it.”
The intern beamed. “Yes, Ms. Pamela!”
Jerry kept showing up at my place since his divorce, tarnishing the Miller family’s reputation.

Their stock was nearly hitting the lower limit these days.
So Raymond reached out to me: “Pamela, I’ll make sure he stops bothering you and give you that new project you wanted. Would you do me a favor in return?”
