On the third day of the birthday celebration, Lisa got the test results.
Nicole and Raymond were indeed biological father and daughter.
During the divorce, Raymond framed Lisa for cheating and took most of the property.
But Raymond still tried to cover it up, even drugging Lisa.
After getting her stomach pumped at the hospital, Lisa was furious.
For over twenty years, she’d endured the cheating scandal for her son’s sake.
But now her ex–husband poisoned her to silence the truth.
This pushed Lisa over the edge.
She went live immediately, posting the test results in the bottom left corner of the Live Streaming Room.
First, she explained everything to everyone.
Then she declared, “Today, I need witnesses. I’m tearing apart that scumbag and his mistress to reclaim my dignity af- ter twenty years.”
She went to the Miller Manor.
Nicole was sunbathing in the yard when Lisa grabbed her by the hair.
Dragged her upstairs.
To Raymond’s private medical room.
Kicked the door open and forced Nicole to kneel before Raymond. “See? Test results prove you’re father and daugh- ter. Admit it live.”
Raymond couldn’t let his family’s reputation crumble. He ordered someone to seize Lisa’s phone and end the stream.
But Lisa came prepared with bodyguards.
All borrowed from me.
Raymond chased Lisa, trying to hit her.
Nicole knelt on the floor sobbing.

Chapter 7
The Live Streaming Room descended into chaos.
Jerry watched numbly as his parents brawled in the medical room.
Then Jennifer texted him, “Mr. Miller, can we discuss the divorce now?”
He replied after a long pause, “Yes. But Pamela must be present.”
When Jennifer called to ask me, her brother was buying me ice cream nearby.
“Okay.”
I agreed.
Ending this quickly meant starting fresh sooner.
After all, Daniel pursued me relentlessly.
On meeting day, Jerry wore a tailored suit.
But it couldn’t hide his gaunt weariness.
After just days apart, he seemed like a stranger.
Seeing me, he stood immediately. “Pamela.”
I dodged him and joined Jennifer.
“Mr. Miller, sign it.”
Jennifer held out the divorce papers.
Jerry stared intently at me. “I need to say this, Pamela. I’ve only ever loved you.”
I met his gaze impatiently. “Irrelevant. I don’t love you anymore.”
“Pamela, I’ll win you back.”
Then Daniel called. “Where are you? I’ll pick you up. Booked that restaurant–taking you for good food.”
“With Jennifer. Wrapping up now.”
My expression instantly softened.

Jennifer raised an eyebrow. “Soon drinking at your wedding toast?”
“Calling me sister–in–law?”
“Don’t. Use my name.”
Seeing us laugh like nobody else mattered, Jerry snapped. “Pamela, that’s the man who kissed you, right?”
I shook off his arm. “Your business?”

Jerry said gravely, “His friend got Nicole’s social media app details. He’s no saint.”
“That playboy will toy with your feelings.”
“Oh.”
I looked at my nails; the new manicure wasn’t quite right.
“Pamela, think carefully. I don’t want you getting hurt again.”
Jerry’s eyes brimmed with earnest affection, which felt utterly ridiculous.
Jennifer couldn’t stand it and snapped, “Enough! My brother may have flaws, but he’d never blur lines with his own sister.”
Jerry retorted indignantly, “Nicole just has mental health issues-”
“Enough!”
I slammed the table hard. “If she’s sick, get her a doctor. Stop letting her disgust everyone else!”
Then I played a recording.
Nicole had sent it to me.
“Nicole, I wish she could lean on my shoulder, but she’s always so rigid.
Being with her exhausts me.
Sometimes I think… if only she were soft like you…” Jerry’s voice was crystal clear, not a hint of drunkenness.
“Don’t overthink it, brother. I’ll always be here for you.”
Then came those unmistakable sounds.
Jerry’s face drained of color. “Pamela, let me explain—I was just under too much pressure-
“Hah. Jerry, you’re no man at all.
I can’t believe I was ever blind enough to choose you.”
“Every time our relationship comes up, you hide behind Nicole’s illness. Dare you say you feel nothing for her?”
“You’re just manipulating her to test my limits.”
“The only person you’ve ever loved is yourself!”
Jerry lowered his head. “Pamela, I know words won’t convince you. Let me prove it through actions.”
With that, he grabbed the divorce papers Jennifer had placed on the table and signed without reading.
“Pamela, I’m setting you free.

But if you ever look back… I’ll always be here.”
Just then, Daniel’s voice cut through from behind Jerry. “Such ‘devotion‘ is nauseating. Hope it doesn’t ruin Pamela’s appetite for dinner.”
“Besides, she has me now. She won’t glance back at you. Go cherish your sister properly.”
Daniel knew how to twist the knife. His next words turned Jerry’s face ghostly white.
In his panic, Jerry knocked over the water glass beside him, sending it clattering to the floor.
