Romina glanced toward the entrance; the crowd that had gathered outside had already dispersed, and even Lexie was gone. 

“Your son has already been sent to the hospital by us. 

Romina’s voice was deep, her face completely indifferent. 

“Did you hit my son? I just heard him shouting inside from outside the door! What exactly did you do to him?” 

“We didn’t hit him. It was Mr. Bowman, who just left, who ordered his men to do it. You’d better not cause any more trouble, or we’ll call the police and have you taken away too! Because your son has al- ready confessed to his crime–he deliberately set up Dr. Sandoval and Dr. Porter.”

“What paparazzo? You’re the paparazzo!” Elliana glared at him. “I’m a legitimate journalist!” 

“Oh? So you’re a journalist?” Miguel looked her up and down for a moment. “What kind of journalist? The kind that secretly photographs people’s scandals?” 

“You’re the tabloid reporter, your whole family are tabloid reporters.” 

“Why are you making it personal? I’m just having a normal conversation with you!” 

Listening to their back–and–forth, Romina’s lips suddenly curled up in a faint smile. 

She turned and walked toward the treatment room, starting to clean up inside. 

It was clear that Erick had shown some restraint; otherwise, the scene would have been even more 

chaotic.
