After the voice fell, there was a trace of displeasure in Nadine’s 

eyes. 

After listening to her, Joaquin turned his gaze to Romina beside 

him: “Did you do physical therapy for Grandpa?” 

The man’s voice was cold, but there was a hint of doubt in his 

tone. 

Romina lifted her eyelids and said word by word, “Given 

Grandpa’s current condition, naturopathy’s physical therapy is 

the most suitable treatment.” 

“But Grandpa’s condition hasn’t stabilized

to help him?”

if something happens to Grandpa? Can you take responsibility 

for that?”

Sandoval, is what they said true?” 

Faced with the man’s questioning, Romina showed no sign of 

nervousness. 

She raised her bright eyes and said seriously, “It’s true.” 

“How confident are you?” 

Joaquin’s voice was deep as his gaze fell on her delicate 

features. 

She replied concisely, “One hundred percent.” 

As her words landed, Joaquin, standing beside her, stiffened 

slightly. 

Last night, he had consulted the attending physician about the 

situation. Even the hospital’s own naturopathy manager didn’t 

dare to perform physical therapy on his father at this point. 

Erick had also said that only if they found the highly skilled 

female naturopathic doctor, Mie, would there be a chance for a 

quick recovery. 

But he didn’t know much about Romina and was unaware of 

her medical skills. 

“You really have a lot of nerve!” Jericho’s expression darkened. 

“Grandpa’s life is hanging by a thread right now. He’s been in a

yet you dare to make such wild claims!” 

Jericho’s voice interrupted Joaquin’s thoughts. 

After regaining his composure, he fixed his gaze on Romina’s 

face. 

But Romina was in no hurry to respond and remained silent. 

“Exactly!” Nadine chimed in, “Sir Bowman’s current condition is 

indeed not optimistic. Even if you’re confident, you should at 

least inform his attending physician. What if something 

unexpected happens? What then?” 

Romina’s voice was very low: “Given Grandpa’s current state, 

physical therapy is needed to unblock the fascia. Because of his age, his blood vessels are not as good as those of younger people. That’s why conventional medicine works so slowly, but 

physical therapy can provide faster relief.” 

“But you should at least notify the doctor…” 

“I said I was confident in treating Grandpa, that’s why I handled 

it myself.”‘ 

Before Nadine could finish her sentence, Romina interrupted 

her. 

After all, her wellness clinic had not yet opened. Although she 

had a medical license, Hayden was currently hospitalized. If she 

told his attending physician, they would never allow her to 

perform physical therapy. 

That was the real reason she kept quiet. 

“Romina, if something happens to Grandpa…” 

Just as Jericho was about to say more, the man beside him cut 

in first: “Enough. Since Ms. Sandoval says she’s confident, let’s 

wait until Sir Bowman finishes his physical therapy before 

discussing it further.” 

Looking up, he saw Joaquin had already walked past him and 

was heading to the door. 

Jericho glanced back at Romina, his eyes filled with displeasure. 

Why has Joaquin been defending Romina so much lately? 

And it wasn’t just once or twice… 

Joaquin placed his hand on the door of the hospital room, 

opening it just a crack to peer inside. 

His father was indeed undergoing physical therapy. 

The rise and fall of his chest showed that he was only asleep for 

the moment, not in a coma. 

He could still tell the difference between someone who was 

asleep and someone who was unconscious. 

After closing the door, the man turned back to look at Romina: 

“How much longer?” 

Romina raised her hand and glanced down at her phone: 

“Fifteen minutes.” 

Joaquin said nothing more and was about to go sit by the 

corridor, but just then, Hayden’s attending physician arrived. 

“Mr. Bowman, you’re here too?” 

The doctor glanced in Joaquin’s direction, a faint smile 

appearing at the corner of his lips. 

“Yes!” 

Joaquin nodded slightly, his voice very low. 

When Jericho saw the doctor arrive, he pulled Nadine to sit 

aside, looking as if he was waiting to watch a good show. 

Just as the doctor was about to enter, Romina suddenly walked 

over and blocked the doorway: “You can’t go in yet.” 

“Miss, I am Sir Bowman’s attending physician. Today is my 

scheduled round, and I need to check on Sir Bowman’s 

condition. Please do not interfere with my work.” 

“Sir Bowman is resting. Please come back in fifteen minutes.” 

With many years of medical experience, Romina naturally 

understood the serious consequences of practicing medicine 

privately in a hospital.
