his arms.
The next second, the man gently lifted the covers, and the white bedding enveloped both of their bodies.
He held her tightly from behind, as if afraid she would run away.
“Stay and sleep with me for a while!”
His voice was incredibly gentle, falling softly into her ear from behind.
Romina’s back stiffened for a moment, but in the end, she yielded to his wish and didn’t try to break free.
Neither of them spoke again. Romina didn’t even know when Joaquin fell asleep, he never turned over or let go of her the entire time.

She woke up at five in the morning.

Romina looked at him with sleepy eyes, a faint smile appearing at the corner of her lips.
Just as she was about to lower her hand, Joaquin suddenly grabbed her arm, placed his other hand on her waist, and pulled her much closer.
Their bodies were pressed tightly together, with almost no space between them.
Only then did Romina notice that Joaquin’s robe was very loose, exposing most of his chest. The lines of his muscles, radiating with hormones, made her suddenly much more awake, her heartbeat quickening involuntarily.
