Before Nadine could respond, Valery cut in. 

“Why would I have a problem?” Romina smiled faintly, her lips curving. “All guests are welcome. After all, I’m still a member of the Bowman family, so I welcome both of you…” 

They were still at the entrance, with guests coming and going. It really wasn’t the right place for a conversation. 

Romina didn’t linger long and walked forward. 

Valery gritted her teeth in anger. “Nadine, look at how arrogant she is! It’s infuriating!”

She turned to Valery beside her. “Are you sure Nasir will come tonight?”

“Everything’s ready.” Valery lowered her voice, leaning close to Nadine’s ear. “If Sir Bowman finds out that his granddaughter–in–law is involved with his youngest son’s friend, he’ll definitely agree to the divorce.
