Chapter51

Willie said, Lorena, Miriam, come with me to the office. Sadie sat at her seat. Everyone around her was discussing plagiarism.

She opened her textbook and started to compare the answers to see how many marks she could gain!

Not long after, Catherine came to call her. Willie asks you to go to the office.”

Sadie guessed that this would happen. She went to the office, but she realized that No.1 Sidekick was not here.

She saw Jeremy.

That made sense. Lorena would definitely call for

reinforcements. Lorena’s eyes were red as she looked up at her. Sadie, do you hate me so much? What do you want me to do for you to forgive me?”

Sadie replied calmly, I’m just stating that I saw it. If I wanted to kill you, I would directly say that I saw you cheating!”

Lorena’s face instantly turned red.

Jeremy could not stand it anymore. He scolded Sadie, Speak properly. Lorena is also a member of the Douglas family. When faced with such a situation, I thought you knew what to do!”

Sadie looked up. What does Jeremy want me to do? Say that I didn’t see anything? That’s fine too. I really didn’t see Lorena turn around.”

Jeremy felt a headache coming on. Why didn’t she understand what

Chapter51

she meant? Willic coughed. Well, I roughly understand the situation now. Lorena, you’re also at fault. Usually, you can’t let others do your homework for you. You shouldn’t

homework for you. You shouldn’t whisper to each other during the exam.”

Jeremy explained. Teacher, Lorena asked someone else to do her homework because of family matters that occupied her time. I can testify to this.”

It was just asking her classmates to help with her homework. This was a small matter.

After all, Lorena did it for a reason.

Lorena was especially aggrieved. Jeremy, I didn’t know that Miriam wanted to frame me for cheating. Just because I mentioned that she borrowed money from me. I didn’t expect her to have such thoughts.”

Lorena, I know you’ve always been kind and like to help poor students, but there’s a bottom line to kindness. Jeremy believed that Lorena did not cheat. She must have been framed.

Willie: We will discuss the outcome of this matter. You guys can go back to the classroom first.”

Sadie turned around and left.

Jeremy chased after her. Sadie, how can you testify that you saw Lorena turn around? What if the teacher really finds her guilty of plagiarism and punishes her? Have you thought of the consequences?”

Sadie stopped. If Lorena really plagiarized and pushed the blame to that poor student Miriam, have you thought about the consequences of Miriam?”

That’s impossible. Lorena would never do such a thing. Jeremy denied almost subconsciously.

Chapter1

Sadie sneered, so there was no need for her to answer.

Sadie, I know you feel wronged and think that we’re biased towards Lorena. Isn’t that because her father saved your life? In addition, she has always been docile and sensible. So what if we treat her better? If you want to blame someone, blame me. Don’t implicate Lorena!”

Sadie was so angry that her temples were throbbing.

She was instantly speechless.

She said mockingly. I’m blaming myself, OK?She could only blame herself for being blind and not seeing this socalled kinship clearly earlier!

Sadie ran straight into the classroom.

Jeremy stood outside with a helpless expression.

He wanted to ease the relationship with Sadie now, but it seemed like she had never accepted it!

How could he make Sadie understand that he was strict with her because she was his biological sister?

However, Lorena was not. That was why he did not have any requests. He wasn’t being biased!

Lorena walked over. Jeremy, I’m sorry.

want Sadie to keep throwing at Why don’t I move out? I don’t

at home. I don’t want to see

your relationship become worse because of me.

Jeremy forced a smile. What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with you. You don’t have to move out. You’re my sister, Jeremy You always will be.”

Lorena smiled through her tears. Then it’s a deal!”

Chapter51

Jeremy looked at Lorena with relief. If only Sadic was so sensible.

He said, You have to focus on your studies. Don’t let your classmates do your homework for you.Lorena’s expression stiffened. I know I was wrong.”

It’s good of you to know your mistake.”

When Jeremy saw Lorena’s apologetic attitude, he really hoped that Sadie could do the same.

Sadie returned to the classroom and saw the empty seat of No. 1 Sidekick, but she did not sympathize.

A few days later, the school reported the plagiarism incident and Miriam was warned and punished.
