Chapter 97 Hany Wants Me to Hand This to You
Harry’s hand stayed in midair. Even though he wanted to go after Catherine, his legs refused to move. He could only watch Catherine leave.
He looked down at his empty hands with pained eyes. He had lost Catherine.
Adrian approached him. “Mr. Zimmerman, Mrs. Zimmerman might just be feeling emotional after losing her child. Maybe she’ll feel better over time…”
Harry closed his eyes and stayed silent.
Adrian looked at the back of Harry’s hand. “Mr. Zimmerman, how about we treat the wound on the back of your hand first?”
Harry waved him off. “No need. You may leave.
He wanted to brood alone for a while. Adrian had no choice but to leave.
Catherine hailed a cab to her house. When she walked out of the elevator, she saw Eleanor and
Jeremy.
Upon seeing her, Eleanor stepped forward. “Cathy, are you okay? I was so worried.”
Noticing Eleanor’s swollen eyes, Catherine smiled. “I’m fine.”
Eleanor didn’t believe her. Her laughter faded into tears. “What do you mean you’re fine? You’ve gotten so much thinner, and your complexion looks awful.”
She held Catherine’s hand and pulled her into the house. She pulled out a blanket from somewhere before draping it over Catherine’s shoulder.
“I’ve looked into what you told me to. The results may be different from your assumption.”
Catherine hummed in acknowledgment. She could guess what Eleanor was about to say.
“Although I couldn’t find any connections to Michelle, I have a feeling that she must’ve had a hand in this. She hates you the most.”
Eleanor held Catherine by her shoulders. “Cheer up. I’ll avenge you after you get better!”
Catherine hummed in agreement, but her heart felt empty. She had lost her child on a trip to Hearthvale. She wished she had known this would happen in advance,
Eleanor held Catherine’s hand. “Cathy, Jeremy cooked some dishes. Let’s eat together.”
Catherine didn’t refuse. After all, she needed to take care of her body so she would have the energy to find the person who hurt her.

She was in a terrible state. Eleanor constantly stayed by her side and even slept next to her. Eleanor’s worries only subsided when Catherine started to look less pale.
When her body was almost fully recovered, Catherine prepared to visit the company. Adam had been handling the company’s affairs this entire time. Catherine couldn’t focus on work at all.
Eleanor accompanied her. When she pushed open the door to her office, Catherine saw Adrian holding a document.
Adrian said respectfully, “Mrs. Zimmerman, Mr. Zimmerman asked me to pass this to you…”
Catherine brushed the document he handed to her aside and said coldly, “I don’t need anything from
him. Please leave.”
Adrian didn’t leave. He stubbornly placed the document on her desk.
“I don’t mind leaving, but this document can be a great help to you. Please accept it, Mrs.
Zimmerman.‘
Catherine didn’t move or spare him a glance.
Eleanor grabbed the document and skimmed through it. Then, she said sarcastically, “He only regrets it after the child is gone.
“Where was he before all of this? Now, he’s even pretending to be some lovesick fool!”
Adrian frowned. “Ms. Bell, please watch your words.”
Eleanor shot back without hesitation, “What’s wrong with calling the scumbag a scumbag? Silencing me doesn’t change the fact that he’s a piece of shit!
“Take your document and get lost! Cathy doesn’t need his money! Bell Group will give her all the investment she needs!”
She tossed the document back into Adrian’s hands. She didn’t like Harry, so Adrian also left a bad impression on her.
Troubled, Adrian looked at Catherine.
