Chapter 70 Moderate Intimacy Is Good for the Baby
The cold tone in Catherine’s voice brought Harry back to his senses.
He looked at her face and said hoarsely, “If you don’t want to, then forget about it. I won’t force you.”
Even though he was in great discomfort, he still let go of her hand.
As soon as Catherine’s palm was free, she closed her eyes for a moment. When she opened them again, her gaze fell on the bulge between Harry’s legs, and her fingers curled tightly.
Harry picked up a damp cloth and wiped her hand. “As for what you said about what I take you for, you are Mrs. Zimmerman. My family acknowledges you as my wife.”
Catherine pulled her hand back, unwilling to listen to Harry’s meaningless words. Still, she didn’t want to owe him anything either. After all, Harry’s illness had started because of her.
The room fell into silence until Catherine spoke in a faint voice. “Then just this once. After
that, we owe each other nothing.”
Harry didn’t like her words about owing each other nothing. He had thought that once he and Catherine divorced, their lives would no longer be connected. That was until he discovered
that she was carrying his child.
The invisible ties drew them together again, reminding him that their lives were far from
finished with each other.
Harry crouched down and looked up at Catherine.
“I think that will be very difficult,” he said, his hand slowly resting on her thigh.
After two months of abstinence, and with Catherine right in front of him, his Adam’s apple bobbed uncontrollably. His hand was pressed against her thigh, and her subtle fragrance that filled his senses did nothing to calm the restlessness inside him. It only made him more
aroused.
Catherine leaned back and shifted to give Harry space. She bent her long legs slightly, trapping them around his neck.
“Use your mouth for foreplay,” she said.
Harry lifted his head. He had never seen Catherine so bold and unabashed, especially with that almost commanding tone.

Chapter 70 Moderate Intimacy Is Good for the Baby
2/2
He averted his gaze, pushed aside her dress, and buried his head between her thighs.
Catherine’s hand clenched against the pillow as a moan escaped her lips.
Harry was a man she knew well, and her body was extremely sensitive. After just a few rounds, she was completely undone, collapsing onto the bed and gasping for breath.
Harry lifted his head, wiped the clear moisture from his face, and couldn’t help but lick the corner of his lips.
He slowly leaned over her, careful not to press against her stomach, and kissed her neck. “The doctor said that moderate intimacy is good for the baby.”
Catherine turned her face away and pushed him back. Her cheeks were flushed, yet her tone was cold. “If you want to do it, then hurry up. Stop wasting time.”
Harry paused for a moment, wondering if she was refusing his kiss. His gaze darkened as a flash of displeasure crossed his mind. He was making love to Catherine, not striking a deal.
He reached for a condom on the bedside, put it on, and spread her legs around his waist.
As he entered her, she whimpered and gripped his arm tightly. “Slow… Slow down.”
Harry moved with small and shallow thrusts, his eyes gradually reddening. If it were not for the child inside her, he would have taken her hard and roughly, just to silence the cruel words that always came from her mouth.
Catherine grabbed the corner of the sheet and bit down on it. Her voice grew nasal, and tears of overwhelming pleasure streamed from the corners of her eyes.
Harry’s body was burning hot, and the part of him moving inside her felt just as scorching. Catherine felt as if she were melting from his heat.
Still, Harry felt unsatisfied. He didn’t dare go all out, so after finishing once, he pulled away from Catherine and got off the bed. He rushed straight into the bathroom.
Catherine’s pupils unfocused as she lay on her side, utterly drained.
Not only did Harry feel desire, but she did too.
As her pregnancy progressed, her desires hid in the secrecy of night, leaving her tossing and sleepless. She restrained herself during the day and surrendered to them at night.
