Chapter 69 Use Your Hand to Help Me

Catherine leaned into Harry almost immediately.

Harry tried to clear his mind, forcing himself not to imagine anything inappropriate. Yet when Catherine pressed her entire body into his arms, he could feel the softness of her chest against his. A rush of heat spread through him at that moment.

Harry felt as if this was a punishment he brought upon himself. His desire was ignited in a heartbeat, but the timing couldn’t have been worse.

Once he saw that Catherine was no longer suffering as much, he moved her arm aside and

went back into the bathroom for another cold shower..

It was June, and the weather was mild. But the sudden contrast between hot and cold left him feeling unwell.

After giving Catherine some water, Harry finally climbed into bed.

The back-and-forth had thoroughly worn him out, but thankfully, Catherine’s fever had

subsided by the next morning. Still, she looked a little pale.

Rachel touched Catherine’s forehead and said, “Thank goodness. You’re finally better. Come

on, eat something to regain your strength.”

Catherine watched as Rachel fed her the stew brought by the housekeeper. Her thoughts

drifted to Harry.

“Rachel, where is Harry?” she asked. Although she no longer had feelings for him, she had

witnessed everything he did for her yesterday.

Rachel answered casually, “Oh, him? He’s sick and resting upstairs.”

Catherine paused for a moment.

Rachel signaled her not to worry. “Don’t worry about him. There’s a doctor here anyway. Besides, he’s tough. He doesn’t need us fussing over him.”

Catherine murmured a quiet acknowledgement, yet for some reason, her cheeks were flushed.

Harry had helped bring down her fever with his own body, and the two of them were lying naked together in the same bed. That memory left her with complicated feelings toward him.

“I’ll take a walk with you downstairs later. Stay a couple more days before you leave. I’m worried your fever might come back,” Rachel said.

Chapter 69 Use Your Hand to Help Ma

2/2

After feeding Catherine, Rachel helped her down the stairs. Being cared for so meticulously, Catherine felt as if she were a fragile glass doll.

She stayed at the Zimmerman residence for two days. Her fever never came back.

Yet Harry was nowhere to be seen during those two days. When she was finally ready to leave, he appeared in her room, looking frail from his sickness. He blocked her way and asked, “How are you feeling now?”

“Much better, thank you,” Catherine answered softly.

Harry pulled a chair and sat in front of her. “I don’t need your words of gratitude. I’d rather you show some real action.”

Catherine lifted her gaze.

“What do you want?”

Harry was nearly driven mad by her. Her body tempted him so much that he felt on the verge of losing control. On top of that, the fever had him burning up all over.

He had never imagined Catherine could be so dangerously alluring. He grabbed her hand and pressed it between his legs. “Use your hand to help me.”

Catherine jolted as if struck by electricity and tried to pull her hand away, but Harry held it firmly. He drew in a deep breath and lowered his voice. “I’m about to explode.”

Catherine lowered her gaze. She shouldn’t have let her attitude toward Harry shift. The hard- earned affection she had built for him fell apart completely at that moment.

Harry sat on the edge of the bed and said, “Don’t act so reluctant. This reaction only happened because I was helping you. You lit the fire, so shouldn’t you be the one to put it out?”

After a long pause, Catherine replied, “Fine. After this, we’ll be even.”

Harry let out a low hum, guiding her hand up and down as his voice grew rough and unsteady. “That’s not nearly enough.”

Catherine tried to pull her hand back. “What else do you want?”

Harry panted, bracing one hand against the headboard. He was so close to her that a slight tilt of his head could bring their lips together.

“I asked the doctor. He said that we can be intimate after the first three months of

pregnancy.”

Harry buried his face in her neck, breathing in her faint scent. He felt himself grow harder.

Catherine’s gaze turned cold as she met his eyes, which were burning with desire. “Harry, what do you take me for?”
