Chapter 86.

How could his Jovana be so cold to him?

Harland’s eyes turned cold, and he wasn’t a pushover either. He took all the moves.

“Mr. Dunbar came to see me today not just to spar, right?”

Armando swung his sword suddenly, his cold tone full of warning, “I heard Mr. Frasier is from San Diego, the Frasier family business did really well there. Mr. Frasier should just go back and take over the family business, and not mess with people he shouldn’t mess with!”

Harland’s profile was tense, showing no emotion, “Oh? Mr. Dunbar was talking about?”

“This was Los Angeles, not San Diego.”

A blatant threat.

Armando got more aggressive and didn’t give Harland any chance at all.

“We were together since high school, got married right after college, and you got in the middle-what did that make you?”

“We’re all men. Some things, if put out in the open, just wouldn’t look good.”

“I thought Mr. Frasier wasn’t someone who couldn’t tell what was more important.”

Sarcastic and mocking, it hit right at what people were most proud of.

Harland’s face darkened.

“You lost.” Armando raised his sword and thrust it at his Adam’s apple.

Harland’s face looked cold. In a flash, he struck out and blocked him, stopping just one centimeter from his forehead. He said coldly,”Mr. Dunbar, you jumped to conclusions, didn’t you?”

Armando froze for a moment, staring at the sword right in front of him, and there seemed to be a spark in his eyes.

Harland calmly put away his sword, his brows cold and hard, and said word by word, “I can tell Mr. Dunbar got along well with his wife, so why didn’t he trust her? Did they have some problems in their marriage?”

Armando didn’t look happy. The last thing he wanted to hear right now was the word “conflict,” especially when it came from the troublemaker Harland.

He gritted his teeth and gave a cold laugh, looking at him, “Things between a husband and wife-she loved me, and I wouldn’t let anyone else covet her. Mr. Frasier’s just an outsider, what would he know?”

Hearing that word, Harland’s throat tightened, and he suddenly gripped his sword.

But he quickly pushed down that out-of-place feeling.

He said, “There was nothing between me and Jovana, if you’re innocent, you’re innocent. If Mr. Dunbar still had doubts, there was nothing I could do.”

Armando sneered, “Then let Mr. Frasier remember what he said today. Don’t mess with people you

shouldn’t mess with, and know your place!”

Such a mocking tone made Harland’s eyes turn dark for a moment.

“Me? I messed with her? Huh, she was walking alone on the street in the middle of the night, no phone, couldn’t get a ride, why didn’t Mr. Dunbar go pick her up?”

“She went home alone and got bullied by some thugs. Where was Mr. Dunbar at that time?”

Every sentence felt like a slap in Armando’s face.

Armando’s face looked so gloomy it could wring out water.

Harland gave a mocking laugh, looking down on him, “So this was the ‘love’ Mr. Dunbar talked about? That’s really pathetic!”

Armando frowned hard, feeling really annoyed by the jab, and snapped back,”That’s none of your business! What right does Mr. Frasier have to judge?”

The word qualification really woke Harland up.

He froze awkwardly.

Laughed at him inside, yeah, what right did he have?

At that moment, the door of the room was suddenly knocked.

Harland frowned, his temple twitched, and he looked up at the clock on the wall.

It was already eleven o’clock, so the person knocking outside had to be Jovana.

Armando was just as sharp. No one was allowed to bother people in the VIP room, so this person…

Thinking of that, Armando’s eyes darkened, and he had already gone to open the door first!

Harland didn’t have time to stop him, and Armando had already pressed the door handle-

Harland’s heart pounded hard, and his brows furrowed a little.

He wasn’t afraid of Armando, he was just worried about causing Jovana unnecessary trouble.

When he realized this thought, Harland himself was stunned for a moment.

The door to the private room was pushed open.

Rhett walked in without any guard, and when he saw the person who opened the door was Armando, he

froze for a second.

But I quickly reacted and politely called out,”Mr. Dunbar.”

Armando frowned and answered coldly, but his eyes looked past him to the back.
