Chapter 50.

Seeing Normand walk to the window, as soon as he pulled open the curtains, he would see Harland hiding outside on the balcony.

What should I do?

Jovana felt uneasy.

She couldn’t imagine the consequences!

“Why did you lie to me?” Armando pressed closer, gripping her waist, wishing he could squeeze it till it broke.

Jovana got all teary-eyed from that sentence.

He was out partying with Juliette, and he still had the nerve to question her?

She suddenly couldn’t take it anymore and wanted to just fall out with him!

Normand held the curtain and looked like he was about to pull it over.

Jovana’s heart sank to the bottom, “Armando-”

“Why didn’t Mr. Dunbar tell me he was coming so late? I could’ve prepared for him!”

Two voices spoke at the same time.

The woman walked in wearing a white suit, looking noble and elegant.

It was Tatiana.

Jovana froze and got even more flustered… A woman’s heart is impossible to guess, she thought. She had no idea how Tatiana would react after finding out she and Harland had shared a room.

On the contrary, Juliette’s eyes lit up and she was full of energy!

Armando frowned. He wasn’t happy, but he still kept basic manners.

“Today I really had something urgent, let’s do it another day, I’ll invite Ms. Guerra over!”

“Sure.” Tatiana raised an eyebrow, glanced around curiously, and finally looked at the belt in Normand’s hand.”Eh? Where did you guys find this? I thought it was lost. My boyfriend asked about it last time, he really liked this one.”

Hearing that, Juliette and Jovana were both stunned.

“Is this your boyfriend’s?” Armando hesitated.

Tatiana curved her lips and smiled, saying, “Who else could it be? You think it’s Ms. Atherton’s? Mr. Dunbar, you don’t even trust her that much? She even told me this afternoon to take some jasmine when

I leave, so she could make you jasmine panna cotta.”

Armando’s face darkened, and he suddenly felt a bit embarrassed.

He lowered his eyes and glanced at Jovana in front of him.

She cared about him, but he was suspicious of her.

< Chapter 50.

Juliette saw something was wrong and said anxiously, “Ms. Guerra, how come I didn’t see Mr. Frasier come over with you?”

Jovana frowned and looked at her coldly.

Juliette snorted, “Mr. Frasier didn’t go back last night either, so how come he’s nowhere to be seen now?”

The words Mr. Frasier were Armando’s Achilles’ heel and pulled him back to his senses.

Ha, Harland didn’t go back last night, but still never showed up. Where could he be?

He glanced down at Jovana, half-smiling, “Why didn’t I see Mr. Frasier?”

Jovana’s heart was in her throat, and she held her breath.

Tatiana shook her phone and looked confused, asking Jovana, “What, he still hasn’t come? This guy, we clearly agreed to talk about work tonight, so why isn’t he here yet.”

Jovana reacted quickly and said, “Maybe Mr. Frasier got held up by something.”

“Such a busy person.”

Tatiana complained a bit, and called Harland in front of a few people.

With the speaker on, everyone heard Harland’s voice loud and clear.

“Sorry, something came up and I left early. For the details, I’ll have my secretary go over and coordinate with you.”

“Sorry about that, Ms. Atherton, I took up your time.” Tatiana apologized after hanging up the phone.

Jovana shook her head gently, feeling calmer. “It’s okay.”

Armando’s furrowed brows relaxed. He turned his head to look at Normand. Normand shook his head.

He still didn’t find anything in the room…

Armando pressed his lips. Looks like this time Jovana really was wronged.

But Juliette wasn’t that calm. She looked around with a worried face. She saw Harland go in with her own eyes-there was no way she was wrong!

“Mr. Dunbar, Ms. Guerra…”

Tatiana’s face turned cold,”Ms. Palmer, did you need anything else?”

Juliette looked pale after being snapped at, and she glanced at Armando, trembling a little, looking kind of pitiful…

Jovana squinted a little, held Armando, her eyes downcast, “Mando, you still didn’t believe me?”

The man looked down her back. Right now he just felt guilty-how could he not believe her?

“Sorry, Vana, I made you feel wronged.”

He spoke gently, lifted his eyelids and gave Juliette a cold look, indifferent as ice.

Juliette’s back shivered, and she had a vague bad feeling….
