Chapter 42.
So, he could actually cook for another woman himself?
Versu
Jovana pinched her fingertip hard, stared blankly, and looked dazed.
Scenes of romance that Armando created this morning flashed through my mind: the roses by the bed,
the breakfast on the table…
It seemed really disgusting.
Jovana suddenly felt her stomach churn. She frowned in pain, her face pale.
Juliette saw that and curled her lips, rested her chin on her hand by the car window, and tried to gross her
out on purpose.
“My boyfriend did a lot for me, Ms. Atherton probably hadn’t had breakfast yet, how about trying some too?”
Jovana’s face went pale. She curled her lips and sneered, “No need. Trash belongs in the trash can. Ms. Palmer can enjoy it all by herself…”
After saying that, she didn’t look at Juliette’s livid face and pulled Vonda away.
“Big mouth!”
Before leaving, Vonda turned back and snapped a line.
Juliette stared at the two of them, almost chewing her inner lip raw.
“Juliette, don’t be mad, you have to stay calm. Anyway, we already had something on Jovana. It wouldn’t be too late to get back at her later.” The agent tried to persuade her earnestly.
Hearing that, Juliette finally relaxed a little.
She squinted and glared hard at Jovana.
She had to grab this chance too and make sure she couldn’t turn things around.
Here, Jovana got back in the car, and the first thing she did was toss the sandwich Armando told her to eat into the trash can by the road.
On the side, Vonda saw her act so decisively and was stunned.
This sandwich was obviously made by Armando himself. Jovana used to always finish it, and you could see the happiness all over her face. Why did she… throw it away today?
And Jovana just quietly looked out the window, expressionless.
Forty minutes later, Jasmine Manor.
The manor was built on a hill, and pure white jasmine was planted all around, smelling really nice.

The butler of the manor led Jovana and the others through the gate.
The whole first floor was spacious and bright. Jovana walked in and immediately saw a man and a woman in front of the big floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby-
Mers
The man was tall and well-built, his suit pants wrapping around his strong long legs. Everything he did felt reserved and classy.
Jovana paused for a bit, and for some reason, she felt familiar.
The butler went up to inform the lady of the house, “Ms. Guerra, Ms. Atherton from the Marketing Department of the Dunbar Group is here.”
Tatiana Guerra nodded gracefully,”Okay, you can go now.”
As he finished speaking, the man glanced sideways carelessly, raising his eyebrows a little.
The moment our eyes met.
Jovana’s breathing seemed to stop for a moment…
It was Harland.
She didn’t expect to run into him here. She was planning to find him after she finished this.
Right now, he was with Tatiana, and it was in a private estate.
I heard people in the circle say Tatiana had a boyfriend before, looks like that person was Harland…
Juliette on the side obviously noticed this too.
A flash of surprise crossed her eyes, and as her gaze shifted, she suddenly came up with an idea.
After Tatiana said something to Harland, she smiled and walked over to Jovana,”Ms. Atherton…”
Jovana pulled herself together, with a faint smile on her lips.
She was just about to say something.
But Juliette had already stepped forward and used Jovana as a background, blocking her behind. She smiled and said, “Ms. Guerra, long time no see. It’s been a month since we last worked together. Back then, I was hoping we could work together again. I’m so lucky to get to work with you again.”
This whole series of actions just threw Jovana’s dignity to the ground and made her look like the boss. Jovana’s eyes darkened, and she couldn’t help but sneer, Is there anyone more shameless than her? Tatiana looked at Juliette with a half-smile, “Juliette? Sorry, I don’t really remember that name. Did our company work with you just last month? That’s pretty… surprising.”
The implied meaning was obvious-he looked down on her.
Juliette understood everything clearly, and the smile at the corner of her mouth slowly faded. It was like someone had slapped her, and her face was burning.
She kept a stiff smile on her face and didn’t dare let it out, “Ms. Guerra was just forgetful…”
