hapter 15.
It was Juliette.
Armando’s lips curled into a smirk. He pinched the slim waist.
“What part?” he drawled.
“What a nuisance. Let’s get inside.”
The two kissed passionately like no one was around.
Jovana froze, her eyes slowly turning red, a sharp ache settling in her chest.
In her memory, Armando had always been calm, self–controlled.
Only when he was with her did he show a side no one else knew.
Now, he lost control again and again for another woman.
After Armando satisfied his craving, he put his arm around Juliette and walked in.
Jovana took a deep breath and followed after him, almost as if punishing herself.
At the door, the moment Jovana turned the doorknob, the scene inside nearly broke her.
Right then, Armando and Juliette kissed passionately, separated only by a thin tissue.
“Tsk, one more kiss!”
“Armando’s got moves!”
A few guys teased, “Juliette, how good is Armando in bed?”
Juliette shrank shyly into Armando’s arms. Armando had a few buttons undone at his collar, looking all wild and carefree. He squeezed her waist and hips, pulled her into his arms, and glanced over at them.
“Enough. She’s shy.”
“Armando, I told you to come out and play. Jovana’s nowhere near as fun as the girls out here.”
Outside the door, Jovana’s hand on the doorknob was shaking. Tears just kept falling.
This cramped doorway felt like a courtroom, judging her.
As it turned out, Armando’s friends had known all along he was seeing someone else. They’d hidden it from her, treating her like a fool.
She couldn’t listen anymore. She spun around and fled.
Inside the private room, Armando’s face turned cold the second they mentioned Jovana.
“I said not to involve Vana in this kind of situation.
“Also, no one is allowed to spread this around. Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless.”
‘Oh, we know the rules.”
But Armando’s mood didn’t lift.
Even when Juliette moved closer, he seemed uninterested.
Jovana was his bottom line, and no one was allowed to cross it.
Jovana stumbled out, doubling over a trash can to retch, tears spilling from her eyes.
It was all so disgusting.
She scrubbed hard at the hand Armando had touched moments before, then walked to the car by the road.
Dazed, she slumped back in the seat.“Sir, I’m not going home yet. Take me to a bar, please.”
The driver looked at her in the rearview mirror.

He’d seen Armando kiss another woman after saying goodbye to her. It was really shocking.
He sighed. Miss, all men are the same, really. You and your husband must’ve been married a long time. He doesn’t seem like an unreasonable guy. Find a chance to talk it out. Life goes on, right?”
Jovana shook her head, the corners of her eyes tinged with a faint red.
‘Cheating men are just rotten. Why should I put up with that?”
The driver fell silent, then drove her to the bar.
Armando had already paid more than enough.
The driver gave her a few reminders and then drove away.
Jovana had been socializing a lot these years, but she rarely got drunk.
She did kickboxing, which was why she didn’t hesitate to come to a bar alone.
She ordered a Bloody Mary, drinking alone, listening to the music.
Right now, only strong alcohol could make her forget those disgusting scenes.
“Hey, beauty, it’s no fun drinking alone.”
A man in a floral shirt sat down next to her, a teasing smile on his lips as his eyes raked over her.
She wore a misty–gray chiffon blouse, paired with a form–fitting black mermaid skirt. Her curly hair draped gently over her shoulders. She was beautiful enough to take his breath away.
Jovana heard the sound and glanced at that pale mark on his right ring finger.
