Chapter 7
Benjamin in the courtroom suddenly shot to his feet, then collapsed heavily back into his wheelchair as he lost his balance.
His lips trembling, he stared fixedly at the autopsy report on the screen and said, “This can’t be… Olivia, tell me this isn’t true!”
Olivia’s face went deathly pale as she suddenly lunged toward the projector, screaming, “Turn it off! Turn it off now! This is all fake!”
The bailiffs immediately restrained her. Mason said coldly, “Ms. Olivia Parker, please return to your seat.”
The footage continued playing, showing me clutching the autopsy report as I stumbled into Benjamin’s study.
“Benjamin! Look at this! This baby didn’t die in a car accident at all!”
Without looking up, Benjamin said, “What kind of trick are you trying to pull now?”
I humbly held the report in front of his eyes, saying, “The baby was smothered to death, at least half an hour before the car accident!”

you’d tell lies like this just to frame Olivia?”
I screamed desperately, “I’m not lying! You can check the hospital records!”
“Enough!” Benjamin slammed the table, his eyes fierce.

“Olivia nearly died trying to save her son, and not only did you kill that baby, now you want to destroy Olivia’s reputation!”
I was struggling to breathe then, but still stubbornly held up that report.
Benjamin snatched the report away and tore it to shreds right in front of me.
“From today on, you’re not allowed to step foot outside this
house!”
The courtroom fell into dead silence.
Benjamin stared at his own twisted face on the screen, his entire body shaking.
He mumbled as if he’d lost his mind, “I didn’t know. She never showed me that report…”
Olivia suddenly shrieked, “That report was fake! Charlotte bribed the doctor! She even had the baby’s body delivered to

terrorize me, scaring me into having heart problems…“.

Mason sneered, “Ms. Olivia Parker, do you need me to retrieve the hospital’s original records and the name of the package sender?”
Olivia was instantly speechless, collapsing into her chair in despair.

Just then, the footage that should have stopped suddenly began playing again.
The scene jumped to late at night, showing me sneaking into the nursery and retrieving a tiny camera from under the crib.
I had secretly installed it before being imprisoned, to record footage of Olivia caring for the baby.
I inserted the memory card into the computer, and Olivia’s figure appeared in the footage.
She was holding the baby, wearing a sinister smile.
“You little bastard, you look too much like your father. I have no choice. Did Charlotte really think Benjamin would have a child with me?”
As Olivia spoke, she suddenly pressed a pillow against the baby’s face.

Benjamin looked at Olivia in shock. “You killed this baby?”
Olivia backed away in terror. “Benjamin, let me explain…”
Benjamin grabbed her throat, his eyes bloodshot.
“You’ve been lying to me all these years. You’re the most vicious person of all!”
The bailiffs quickly stepped in to separate them as chaos erupted in the courtroom.
Nicole banged her gavel heavily. “Order! This case now has conclusive evidence proving Ms. Parker’s innocence!”
The gallery fell silent, everyone staring in shock at this scene.
Those who had once cursed me now looked guilty and stunned.
Mason walked over to my body and said sorrowfully, “Judge Williams, I request permission to read Ms. Parker’s suicide note
in court.”
Nicole nodded her approval. Mason pulled out a yellowed envelope from his jacket.
“This was written by Ms. Parker the day before she died.”

He unfolded the letter and read in a slightly trembling voice: “By the time you read this letter, I’ll be gone. I’ve lived too exhausted these years, bearing too many false accusations. I don’t hate Benjamin–I only hate myself for falling in love with someone who never trusted me. After I die, please scatter my ashes in the Atlantic Ocean. I never want to stay in New York again.”
