Loving DAD 870

Loving DAD 870

Chapter 870

In the beginning, Sharon had kept her guard up around Thomas. She hadn’t even dared to bring out Shaluna out of fear that he had approached her with hidden motives, perhaps to sabotage her.

But after spending so much time together, she realized her suspicions had been unfair, the kind of petty doubt that measured a gentleman’s heart with a villain’s yardstick.

Since his arrival, Thomas had saved her countless times and lent his help in more ways than

she could name.

As Wendy once joked, “An all-around assistant like Thomas is worth at least ten thousand a month.”

The truth was, when trouble struck, he proved invaluable.

When Damien went after Casey, if Thomas hadn’t appeared in time, Sharon would have paid dearly. And during the car accident, it was his sharp judgment and steady composure that allowed them to escape unscathed.

Honestly, with Thomas by her side, Sharon always felt a deep sense of security.

But now that he had regained his memories, he would surely leave soon.

A faint ache of loss stirred in her chest. She didn’t want to admit it, but she would miss him. 0

After all, Thomas was too good to be true-handsome, skilled, resourceful, even wonderful

with children.

Theo and Matty both idolized him.

She didn’t know his true identity, but everything about his demeanor, his words, his poise, told her he was no ordinary man. His departure was inevitable.

She couldn’t even remember the last time she had wished for him to recover his memory quickly and move on. That thought had long faded.

Before he left, she resolved to prepare a generous gift for him-to thank him properly for everything he had done.

Thomas stayed silent for the rest of the drive, and Sharon didn’t press further.

The car pulled up beneath her apartment building.

She got out, closing the door behind her, when his voice suddenly called out.

“Sharon.”

She paused and turned back. “What is it?”

Thomas’s gaze lingered on her. Then, out of nowhere, he said, “My name is Thomas Ferrero.”

And before she could respond, he drove away.

Sharon stood frozen, watching the taillights disappear into the night, her feet rooted to the pavement.

The next day, Thomas didn’t show up.

Wendy noticed immediately. “Huh? Why isn’t Thomas here today? Wait, what happened to him yesterday? Did you ask?”

“He regained his memories,” Sharon said.

Wendy’s eyes widened in sudden understanding. “Ah, no wonder. He was so distracted yesterday. But… tell me…” She leaned in, frowning. “What did he decide?”

“Decide what?” Sharon blinked in confusion.

Wendy had no choice but to be blunt. “You didn’t ask him to stay? Thomas can be your assistant and bodyguard, and he’s ridiculously handsome. Men like him are almost impossible to find these days. If his work elsewhere isn’t as good as here, we should keep him. Offer him enough and he’ll stay.”

Right now, Sharon was no longer short on money.

Paying him 100,000 dollars a year wouldn’t even be a problem. 1

And Thomas wasn’t just capable-his character was impeccable. He was discreet, never crossed boundaries, and both Wendy and John trusted him completely.

His refinement, his education, and his mannerisms all pointed to someone raised in privilege and discipline.

He had saved Sharon multiple times, earning merit without ever boasting about it. (2)

Even John, who was usually impossible to please, had once told Wendy, “If possible, keep Thomas. Money isn’t an issue. I’ll cover his salary myself. As long as he’s by Sharon’s side, I’ll be at ease when I’m not around.”

Sharon’s voice cut through Wendy’s thoughts.

“I’ve already given him leave.”

Wendy snapped back to reality and stared at her in disbelief.
