Chapter 830
It was only then that John finally grasped Sharon’s true intention. She had brought him here to confuse the
witnesses.
The three women swept their eyes across the men in the room before settling on Thomas.
“It was him.”
Sharon asked, “Do you know his name?”
The female CEO replied, “He told me his name was Oliver.”
The heiress said, “He told me he was Prescott.”
The socialite added, “He said he was Tyler.”
Three different names. Exactly the hallmark of a conman.
Sharon’s voice remained calm.
“Since you
don’t you?”
claim to have been involved with him, you should have photos or videos of him on your phones,
The three women handed over their phones without hesitation.
With today’s advanced editing technology, a doctored photo could look indistinguishable from reality-too
perfect to judge by sight alone.
Sharon pressed on.
“Could you recount the details of your relationship-time, place, and how it unfolded.” 1
Online, their accusations had been vague. Now, they would have to be precise.
The female CEO, as if by reflex, flicked a glance at Carter before clearing her throat and beginning her account.
Her story matched what had been posted online, but she added countless new details. The logic was seamless, without a single gap to exploit.
The heiress spoke next about her romance with the so-called “Prescott,” now accused of being Thomas.
Her story flowed smoothly, naturally, as though she had rehearsed it in her mind a thousand times. But every so

often, she cast subtle glances toward Carter.
Such furtive gestures could not fool him. Even John noticed.
The third woman, the socialite, told her story with equal conviction. Yet unlike the others, she never once dared
look in Carter’s direction. Her eyes darted nervously about, never settling.
Sharon’s voice cut through the air again.
“You are all certain you had relationships with Thomas, correct?”
The three women nodded in unison.
“Then tell me, does he have any birthmarks, scars, or other distinctive features on his body?”
The CEO answered without hesitation, “Our relationship never progressed to that level of intimacy. So I don’t
know.”
The other two quickly echoed her response.

Carter’s brows drew tighter. Their stories were too perfect, leaving no flaw, no crack to pry open. And that, in
itself, was the greatest flaw of all.
Sharon continued, “Why did none of you expose him before? Why speak out now?”
The heiress explained, “After he cheated us out of money and affection, he vanished. We searched everywhere,
but he had given us false identities and left no trace.”
The socialite followed, “Recently, Sharon, you’ve become so famous that even those around you draw public
attention. A friend of mine saw online comments about your handsome assistant, and she recognized him
instantly. She told me he was the one who deceived me and then fled.
“I didn’t want him to hurt other women, so I chose to expose him. Unexpectedly, the other two ladies saw the
post and realized they had the same experience as I did.”
Sharon turned to Thomas. “Thomas, do you know these women?”
He shook his head firmly. “No. I don’t.”
<
The CEO said, “Since you go by Thomas now, I’ll call you that as well. Thomas, Sharon is a good person. She’ll
soon be representing our country, bringing honor to our nation…”
