Chapter 18

Chapter 18

Ryan had been desperate to find Stella, basically sprinting to get here, and now he was gasping for breath.

His eyes locked onto Marcus and Stella’s hands, looking totally shocked.

“Stella, who the hell is this guy?” Ryan couldn’t believe that in such a short time, there was already another

man in Stella’s life.

Uncontrollable rage was burning inside him. He felt completely betrayed.

‘Ryan?”

Seeing the accusation in his voice, Stella looked surprised for a second, then went back to being completely

calm.

She narrowed her eyes: “What are you doing here?”

Ryan was stumped for a moment, remembering that as far as Stella knew, he should still have amnesia.

Getting his shit together, he pushed down his anger and stammered: “Stella, I got my memory back! I

remember everything now!”

‘As soon as I remembered, I had to find you, but you were already gone. It took me forever to track you

lown… Stella, are you still pissed at me? Is that why you’re with this guy – trying to make me jealous?”

I remember you never used to get close to other guys like this…”

Just come back with me. I’ll forgive you for this, and we can make things work.”

He didn’t see the joy he’d expected on Stella’s face. As Ryan kept rambling, Stella’s frown got deeper and

leeper.

Make things work?

How exactly?

What gave him the nerve to talk about forgiving her?

Stella laughed bitterly, a mocking smile playing on her lips as she cut him off.

‘Ryan, how long are you planning to keep lying to me?”

Hearing that, Ryan panicked and clearly froze.

“If you’re talking about the fact that you’ve been faking amnesia this whole time, then yeah, I know.”

o he started frantically explaining.

Stella, just hear me out – this is all Ivy’s fault. She lied and said her dad was dying and had already written is will leaving everything to her. She promised if I stayed with her and we got married, she’d split the nheritance with me. I only did this so we could have a better future together.”

Stella, don’t worry, I already cut things off with Ivy… I swear this will never happen again.”

he more he talked, the darker Stella’s expression got.

heir story had ended the moment Ryan made his choice.

The reasons didn’t matter anymore.

Ryan, we’re done, Forever.”

“Memories?” Stella’s voice was like ice.

She spoke slowly: “My memories are of you calling me a stalker when people said I was a homewrecker. Of
