Chapter 140
Megan’s friend had asked her what was up with the store, and if the place sold really good
food.
Megan’s face had turned red as she answered, “Sebastian gave me one of their drinks before, and it was delicious. I never thought it’d be from this store.”
“Why did the campus beau give you a drink? Does he like you?”
“No way. Don’t talk nonsense…” Megan said shyly.
Those memories were like broken records, playing repeatedly in Valeria’s mind.
Lowering her head, a teardrop fell from the corner of her eye, falling into the sink. Soon, another drop followed suit.
Her long black hair swayed due to her movements and clung onto her face due to all her sweat.
The restroom in the lounge was really small. It was just big enough to fit two people, and it
was filled with an intimate and ambiguous atmosphere, enveloping them on all sides.
There also weren’t any windows inside the restroom.
At that moment, Valeria recalled her first time with Sebastian. That experience hadn’t been pleasant at all.
That
year, she had been inexperienced, and by the time it was over, even walking felt
uncomfortable for her.
Sebastian had drunk alcohol that day, and Valeria couldn’t help but wonder if Sebastian would
have ever slept with her in university if he hadn’t been drunk that day and accidentally slept
with her.
She still remembered how her body had been covered with hickeys that morning. Their clothes were disheveled, and when Sebastian sobered up, his expression had been ice cold.
He merely pulled out his shirt from beneath her with a cold expression and calmly put his
clothes on.
With a hoarse voice, the first thing he had said to her was, “Jane, remember to buy some contraceptive pills later.”
Stunned, Valeria could only nod timidly back then.
When she got down from the bed, her legs had given up on her. It was her first time, and

Sebastian had been rough due to the fact that he had been drunk the night before.

He could not control himself and had not done any foreplay. Hence, she had ended up crying from the pain.
There were also bloodstains on the white sheet.
Perhaps she had looked too pitiful back then, but Sebastian had ended up hugging her with a complicated expression.
Valeria wanted to cry as she thought about what had happened. Seven years later, she had finally understood the fact that Sebastian had never liked her.
She couldn’t help herself, and tears began spilling out from the corner of her eyes.
Her silence sobs were magnified and they echoed loudly in Sebastian’s ears due to the tight space they were in. Her back was arched, her breathing was ragged, and her body trembled as she cried.
Valeria freed one hand and used it to cover her eyes, but her tears still spilled out from the space between her fingers.
Sebastian froze momentarily before he turned Valeria around and brushed her hair away. He pulled her hand away and looked at her teary eyes and tear–streaked cheeks.
Her eyelashes had even clumped together due to how hard she was crying.
“Valeria,” Sebastian called out. Seeing her cry made him feel helpless, and he didn’t know what to do to stop her tears.
Hence, he just lowered her head and gently kissed her cheeks. He then used his lips to gently wipe her tears away.
His actions had been extremely soft and gentle, but they only made Valeria cry harder. She buried her face in the crook of his neck and sobbed. “It hurts.”
She was speaking on behalf of the woman she had been seven years ago.
Sebastian had never considered that Valeria would be crying because of that. After all, he had controlled himself well and had been extremely gentle the whole time.
Valeria had also been married to Shane for so many years, and they even had a daughter. Despite all that, he could still sense how inexperienced she was.
At that moment, he was confused.
He looked at Valeria dazedly, and he could feel her hot tears on his shoulders. He never thought he’d actually cause a woman to cry in his arms due to the pain she was in.
Chapter 140
Valeria’s hot tears burned against his skin.
In all his 28 years of living, Sebastian had never experienced such a thing.
