Chapter 135
Valeria’s long and thick eyelashes were trembling so much they looked like butterfly wings.
Sebastian’s actions were far from gentle as he took off the shirt that had been in his way. In truth, he had practically torn his shirt open and the last button snapped and fell to the ground.
Throwing his shirt onto the ground, Sebastian propped himself up with one hand and used his other hand to open the bedside drawer. Reaching inside, he seemed to be feeling around for something.
After searching for quite some time, he seemed to have lost his patience, and he finally let Valeria go.
Valeria’s breaths were ragged due to all the kissing, and she had to gasp for breath.
She felt like her heart was about to jump out of her chest.
Her plump and flushed lips illuminated brightly under the bedside lamp. They looked and tasted like the strawberries Sebastian had eaten in the living room just now, sweet and tart.
Valeria’s black hair was draped over her pink pillows, but a few strands were clinging onto her fair cheeks. She curled her fingers slightly, as the photo was still in her palm.
Meanwhile, Sebastian didn’t seem to be able to find the thing he wanted in the bedside drawer. He looked at her and pinched her thin cheeks. “Do you not have them at home?”
“We ran out,” Valeria answered, knowing what he was referring to.
Sebastian’s gaze darkened as he looked at her. After a while, he pressed his tongue against his bottom teeth and said, “You and your husband go through them pretty fast.”
Valeria did not answer him and merely grunted in acknowledgement, as there was nothing she
could say either.
Sebastian pursed his lips and braced his hands around both her sides. Then, he looked at how beautiful and delicate her eyes were now that they were tinged red.
He also watched her lips, as they would part slightly with each breath she took. They were also swollen from all the kissing.
Valeria looked absolutely mesmerizing.
However, she belonged to Shane. Just the thought of another man having Valeria was enough to make his head throb.
Lowering his head, he bit her lips and hoarsely muttered, “Say my name.”

His slender fingers threaded through her hair, holding the back of her head in place as he listened to Valeria calling his name through ragged breaths.
However, it all did nothing to soothe the emotions surging in his chest.
The light inside the bedroom was warm, and a ray of moonlight shone through the bedroom
window.
Looking at her sweater that had been pushed up to her chest, Sebastian could see a faint pink scar on Valeria’s abdomen.
The scar was faint but visible. It just looked like it had been worn down by the years.
As a doctor, Sebastian understood that it was a caesarean scar. The throbbing pain in his head intensified, as he stared at her scar with a dark gaze.
Then, he reached out to gently brush his fingers against her scar.
Valeria’s body instinctively tensed, and she soon noticed his frown and his tightly pursed lips.
His expression had darkened considerably, and his lust had evaporated completely.
Reaching his hand out, Sebastian helped adjust her clothes. Then, he lifted a stray strand of hair from her cheek, tucked it behind her ear, and pinched her cheek gently.
He proceeded to pick his shirt up from the floor and put it on in complete silence.
Valeria adjusted the collar of her shirt and watched Sebastian leave. Once she heard the sound of the door closing, she finally opened her palm.
She immediately noticed her red palms from where the corners of the photo had cut her and how crumpled the photo looked. So, she quickly smoothed out the edges.
Then, she picked up the wad of cash on the floor and placed it back in the wallet with the
picture.
