Chapter 134
The strawberries in season were especially sweet. Freshly washed, they glistened as each one carried a delicate fragrance.
Valeria had initially asked Sebastian to follow her upstairs, as she wanted to offer him a glass of water in thanks for taking care of her and Selena over the past few days.
When Sebastian had paid all her medical bills, Valeria had tried to transfer the money back to him, but he refused.
So, Valeria went to her room and took out a wad of cash from her wallet. As she did, a photo of two people slipped to the floor.
Valeria froze momentarily before she picked up the photo with trembling hands.
In the photo, she and Sebastian were wearing Nueve High School’s white uniforms with blue
hems on the sleeves.
Sebastian stood tall beside her. His straight and slender frame, coupled with his cold and aloof
expression, made him seem distant and unapproachable.
There were actually three people in that photo, but she had cut the other person out.
Valeria stared at the photo in a daze for a long time. She had kept that photo well, and even the edges of the photo were in perfect condition.
She was used to keeping some cash at home for emergencies, and the photo had been placed in that specific wallet. Hence, she had unknowingly preserved the photo for so many years.
Crouching down, Valeria was lost in thought and did not hear the sound of the door being pushed open from behind her.
By the time she heard Sebastian’s footsteps, he was already standing behind her. His familiar cold and light cologne enveloped her, causing her to pale instantaneously.
Valeria immediately stood up, turned around subconsciously, and clutched the photo tightly
in her hand.
With her other hand, she handed him a wad of cash. “This is for my medical bills from last
time. I don’t think it’s enough, but you can take this half first.”
Sebastian caught her slender wrist and took the money with his other hand. Brushing his fingers over the money, he smiled nonchalantly before throwing the money aside.
Then, he asked, “Valeria, did you really think I followed you upstairs because I was thirsty and wanted a drink?”

Valeria instinctively took a step back, but Sebastian merely inched closer toward her. He raised her chin with one hand, but when he leaned in to kiss her, Valeria subconsciously turned her
head to the side.
His warm lips brushed across her cheek before they trailed down her neck and fell upon her collarbone.
She tightened her grip around the photo, but due to how well–maintained it was, the photo ended up cutting her palm.
Looking down at the wad of cash, Valeria pushed Sebastian’s chest away. “I have nothing to give you except money.”
“Valeria, do you know what I want?” Sebastian’s voice was low and hoarse. He easily wrapped his arms around her waist, held her there, and proceeded to suck on her collarbone.
Meanwhile, his other hand began to glide across her slender back.
The sharp and achy pain left Valeria thinking that Sebastian was about to draw blood from her collarbone.
Frowning, her knees buckled as she fell onto the bed.
Sebastian caught her other hand and laced their fingers together.
Valeria was momentarily stunned. She recognized her surroundings and the soft mattress behind her, as they were in her house.
Her breaths became uneven, and when she laid back on her bed, she could only see the ceiling
fan above.
But when she lowered her gaze, she caught sight of Sebastian’s short black hair and her sweater being stretched across her chest.
Her clothes were still on, but they were disheveled.
With a tight voice, Valeria parted her lips. “Seb…”
However, Sebastian quickly cut her off again as he kissed her. His eyes burned, and his breaths became uneven as he looked at how Valeria trembled below him.
She was breathless due to his kisses, and she did not try to resist him nor was she struggling. She merely placed her clenched fist weakly against his chest.
