Nadia’s POV 

Originally, there hadn’t been a single clue about my background. But today, after I was dragged through the mud online, someone doxxed me, posting my photo and personal info all over the internet. 

Mike happened to see it and thought I looked familiar. 

He immediately had a paternity test done between us, and it turned out, I really was his biological daughter. 

So the real heiress of the Greens was me, and Ivy was just a fake. 

She schemed and conned her way into everything, even going so far as to steal our classmates‘ IDs and take out massive loans of tens of millions to plug the funding holes in Green Corp. 

And in the end, she wasn’t even his real daughter. 

Everything she did, all her efforts, ended up benefiting me. 

In my past life, I died too early to learn any of this. 

While I was still frozen in shock, Mike broke down in tears and pulled me into a tight hug. 

“My daughter, I finally found you!” he sobbed. “I always knew something was off with that girl we raised. Something just didn’t sit right. But don’t worry, from now on, you’ll live the good life with your dad. I won’t let anyone mistreat you again.” 

With so many people staring, I felt awkward, but when I saw the hope in his eyes, I could only nod stiffly. 

And that was the moment Ivy completely lost it. 

She grabbed Mike’s arm and broke down. “Dad, how can you do this to me? I risked everything for this family! I took out high–interest loans using all my classmates‘ IDs. What am I supposed to do now?” 

Mike rolled his eyes and snapped, “Did I ever ask you to do that? You brought it on yourself. Now deal with it!” 

Ivy’s face froze. She’d finally realized what she had just admitted in front of a dozen 

cameras. 

She tried to take it back, but it was too late. Every word had been caught on livestream. 

Some reporters nearby were already whispering among themselves. 

“So it was Ivy who stole all the IDs for loans. I underestimated her.” 

“No wonder. Nadia never had any use for hundreds of thousands in loans. She didn’t even cheat or buy her grades. It was all Ivy shifting the blame.” 

“If she lied about the test score bribes, what else has she been lying about?” 

Hearing the whispers, Ivy’s face turned bright red. She tried to explain herself, but no one was listening anymore. 

The first to call her out was Bentley.

He stared at her like she was a stranger, disbelief and disappointment written all over his face. 

“Ivy, were you telling the truth just now? God, I can’t believe I fell for you. I even helped you scam others and defended you like an idiot. Why would you do this? What did I ever do to deserve it?” 

He grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her, desperate for an answer. 

More classmates joined in, demanding to know why she did it. 

Then things escalated fast. Some parents who had been watching the livestream stormed into the hospital. 

One furious mother charged up, grabbed Ivy by the hair, and yanked hard. She also kicked Ivy in the stomach and screamed, “You ruined my whole family! My son just got into college, and now he’s in debt with more than half a million in high–interest loans because of you!” 

Grabbing Ivy’s collar, the mother growled, “You’ve got two choices: pay the money back, or pay with your life. Pick one. Otherwise, don’t blame me for what happens next!” 

Ivy couldn’t do anything. The money she borrowed was already gone as she’d given it all to Mike to help his company. She also couldn’t afford to pay it all off. 

Right now, all she could ask for help from was Mike. 

However, he was too busy basking in the joy of reuniting with me to even glance at her 

way. 

Now, surrounded by several parents, her face flushed, her hair was a mess, and her clothes were torn in the struggle.
