The word was sharp, cold, and carried the weight of undeniable authority.
Instantly, the mocking voices fell silent, then immediately all heads turned.
Standing near the entrance, arms crossed over his chest, was a young man in elegant robes embroidered with the symbol of the Miraculous Doctor Sect.
His presence commanded attention.
He was tall, confident, and carried the unmistakable air of someone used to being respected- and feared.
Immediately whispers started spreading quickly among the gathered healers.
“That’s… that’s Lennox,” someone whispered in awe. “One of the top five apprentices under the Miraculous Doctor himself.”
“He survived the Supreme Forest trial,” another added quickly. “He’s one of the strongest of their generation.”
Lennox’s sharp gaze swept across the room, silencing even the most arrogant among them, Without sparing Tyler even a glance, he stepped forward, his voice calm but full of strength.
“I will heal the king,” Lennox declared, his tone leaving no room for argument.
“But,” he added smoothly, “I will need a little bit of time.”
The moment Lennox–the top five apprentice of the Miraculous Doctor–spoke, a ripple of shock spread across the entire hall.
The guards straightened immediately, their faces filled with sudden respect.
Even the remaining participants, who just moments ago had been sneering and laughing, Bay lowered their heads, their earlier arrogance disappearing like mist before the sun,
pers broke out among the crowd again.
That’s Lennox…”
“They say he survived the Deadwood Trial in the Supreme Forest!”
“I heard he defeated a mutated spirit beast with just a single hand. ”
“He’s not just strong–he’s a genius!”
The tales of Lennox’s achievements had spread far and wide, and every single person in the palace knew that surviving the Supreme Forest wasn’t something an ordinary healer could even dream of.
The forest swallowed geniuses whole.

But Lennox had walked out of it alive–and victorious.
No one dared to question him now, No one dared to stand in his way.
His proud, confident posture only made his words heavier, more absolute.
As he stepped forward, the crowd seemed to part naturally for him, as if the very air was bowing to his presence.
Lennox turned slightly, his sharp gaze sweeping the gathered contestants—and landing briefly, disdainfully, on Tyler.
He didn’t even try to hide the scorn on his face.

Looking at Tyler’s torn, dirt–streaked clothes, his messy hair, his thin, battle–worn figure, Lennox let out a short, mocking laugh.
“Look at him,” Lennox said loudly enough for everyone to hear, his tone dripping with
contempt.
“Does this person look like someone who can heal the king?”
Soft laughter broke out among the participants again, but this time it was nervous, cautious, because Lennox had spoken.
“He can’t even take care of himself,” Lennox continued with a smirk. “How could he possibly treat the king? There’s no point wasting everyone’s time here.”
He turned back toward the guards, his voice commanding.
“If anyone can save the king,” Lennox said confidently, “it’s me. Only me.
A few of the guards exchanged quick looks, unsure at first–but the way Lennox spoke, the way he carried himself, made it sound like the absolute truth.
No one questioned it, why would they?
Compared to Lennox, Tyler looked like nothing more than a filthy street rat pretending to be a healer.
At that moment, several guards moved forward without hesitation.
Their hard eyes locked onto Tyler, their lips curling in clear disdain.
They didn’t even bother to hide it.
Their gaze dropped to his tattered clothes, the dirt on his face, the exhaustion hidden behind his calm eyes.
In their minds, the judgment was already made, without needing to say a word, they were absolutely certain.

The moment the guards‘ disdainful eyes locked onto Tyler again, the entire hall erupted into a chorus of mockery and scorn.
“Kick him out!” someone shouted from the back.
“Get rid of him! He’s just wasting our time!” another added quickly.
“While the king is lying there dying, this beggar wants to stand here and play healer!” a woman sneered loudly.
The noise grew louder and louder, a wave of disgust and anger directed solely at Tyler.
All around him, people were nodding in agreement, their faces twisted with contempt.
To them, Tyler wasn’t just useless–he was a threat to their hopes of glory.
He was standing in the way of someone who could actually help.
A waste of space, a joke, an insult.
Voices rose in every corner of the hall.
“He’s not here to heal the king! He’s here to embarrass himself! or perhaps steal something.”
“He can’t even heal a scratch, let alone save a dying king!”
“Throw him out before he brings bad luck to the palace!”
At that moment the guards started stepping closer, ready to seize Tyler, ready to toss him out like garbage.
But before they could, Lennox, the top five apprentice of the Miraculous Doctor, took a confident step forward.
He lifted a hand, his finger pointing directly at Tyler with a cold, dismissive sneer.
“My name is Damien Steel, popularly know as the Lennox.” he declared proudly, his voice carrying across the hall like a blade slicing through the air.
The moment he spoke, everyone fell silent again, they couldn’t believe they were in the presence of
one of the strongest names among the younger generation.
A name that commanded instant respect.
A name no one dared to challenge.
Damien’s gaze stayed fixed on Tyler, and his voice was filled with disdain as he spoke.

“This man,” Damien said, his finger still pointing, “was kicked out of the Supreme Forest by the Miraculous Doctor herself.”
Immediately gasps rippled through the crowd, Damien’s smirk widened.
“That alone should tell you everything you need to know,” he said. “He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He has no true spirit energy to speak of.”
He crossed his arms arrogantly.
“The little drop of energy he carries wouldn’t even be enough to cure a sneeze… or a cough,” Damien said, letting the words drip with mockery.
At that moment Soft laughter bubbled through the crowd again, more vicious this time.
“If he can’t even treat the common cold,” Damien continued, his voice turning sharp, “what business does he have standing before the king?”
Damien took a bold step toward the king’s chamber, brushing past Tyler as if he didn’t even exist.
“It’s just time–wasting,” Damien said over his shoulder, his voice full of contempt. “I’m going in.”
