“Everything happened exactly as you said it would. my Grandfather condition got worse. The black spots appeared all over his body just as you same, if not for your pills he would have been dead” Tears started streaming down her face.
“Please don’t pay evil for evil. I was blind and stupid! for not seeing you wanted to help.” Immediately she took another step forward undermining his looks now.
At that moment Tyler gaze then locked on hers, his face hard as stone.
“Now you want my help?”
“Yes please! I’m really sorry!” She sobbed, clutching his arm tighter.
“Why should I believe you’re truly sorry?” Tyler asked, his voice cold.
Just then, the front door of the house burst open. Everly and her parents rushed outside, followed by Luis. They had heard the commotion from inside.
Immediately they froze when they saw Tyler, and a lady standing in front of him.
The lady face looks too familiar, and they didn’t understand where they have seen the face before, perhaps on TV.
They stood there trying to remember, their faces scrunched in thought.
Immediately the lady saw them she thought they were Tyler families and she quickly walked closer to them.
“Please,” she begged, grabbing Everly’s father sleeve.
“Help me convince him to treat my Grandfather. He was right all along! and I misjudged him, I thought he was fake, please help me my grandfather is dying!”
Upon hearing what she just said, for a moment, no one spoke. Then, Everly’s mother’s face twisted into an ugly smile.
A laugh bubbled from her throat–high and cruel.
“Can you believe this con artist?” she cackled, pointing at Tyler.
“He’s gotten so good at his tricks!”
Her husband joined in the laughter. “This is too much! He disappears for five long years and now returns with some elaborate scheme!”
“He probably must have sold the lady all kind of lies!” another family member shouted from the doorway.
“What an actor!” someone else called out. “Pretending to know medicine! He’s back and he wants to fool everyone believing he’s a miraculous doctor!”

Everly’s mother shouted, her face twisted with hate. “What a joke! What a shame!”
At that moment Everly’s mother turned to her, taping her shoulders.

Just then, a deep cough came from inside the car.
