Roxanne stared at Stanley in front of her in disbelief

She was his wife! And he could say something like that to her. Was he even human

Or maybe, to him, she was just a tool for bearing children, and once the baby was born, she was dispensable

She was forced into a shirt and dragged out of the ward

Roxanne, the baby hasn’t had a drop of milk since birth. He finally got some nutrients now, but why are you doing this to him? Give him back to me. He’s my son, and I’ll take care of him properly. Oliver is already dead. This child might be my only one in this lifetime. If anything happens to him, I won’t want to live either!”

Macy sobbed uncontrollably, clutching Roxanne’s hand as she tried to kneel. Roxanne, I’m begging you, please give the baby back to me.”

I can give you anything else, but not this child. Before Oliver died, he wanted to have a child with Macy. Roxanne, when did you become so petty that you can’t even fulfill that wish?”

Just a moment ago, Stanley had regretted threatening Roxanne with the lactation video in a fit of anger. Although he hadn’t watched the video, he knew how painful it was for a woman to have blocked milk after giving birth

Macy said she had a friend skilled in lactation who could help Roxanne, so he didn’t think much of it and let Macy bring her friend to help

But now, Roxanne wasn’t just ungrateful. She had even taken the baby. He was completely disappointed

Especially after Macy mentioned Oliver, all the remaining sympathy he had for Roxanne evaporated. An icy aura radiated from him. He carefully held Macy to comfort her, Don’t cry. Oliver

wouldn’t want this

I’ll make sure we get the baby back, don’t worry. You’ve been taking care of him for so long, and you must be exhausted. Go rest. When you wake up, the baby will be back home

Come on, Macy, do you not trust me?”

Macy nodded weakly, her pale face streaked with tears, looking pitiful. But in a corner out of Stanley’s sight, a gleam of triumph flashed in her eyes

This was just the beginning. No one had been able to take what she set her sights on. Stanley was hers, and so was the title of Mrs. Frey

She knew Roxanne was Stanley’s chosen wife, and the only way to erase her from his heart completely was to make her disappear

Chapter

Her eyes lit up as she thought of a perfect plan, but she pretended to be sad as she left

Meanwhile, Roxanne was being dragged from room to room by bodyguards on Stanley’s orders, searching for the baby

Mrs. Frey, if you just told us where you hid the baby, you wouldn’t have to suffer like this.”

Exactly, you don’t know how angry Mr. Frey is. Don’t drag us into this. Tell us where the baby is quickly so we can rest.”

The bodyguards vented their frustration, grabbing Roxanne roughly until she was in pain. They hoped this would force her to reveal the baby’s whereabouts. But how could she know where the baby

was

Everything had been orchestrated by Macy. The bodyguards probably suspected something but dared not defy Stanley’s orders

Stanley was probably the only one who didn’t know Macy’s true color

Unable to find the baby in the hospital, he finally lost his temper. If we can’t find him here, search outside the hospital! If she doesn’t tell us, beat her until she does

Roxanne, I’ve been lenient with you. Why do you always push me to my limits?”

Roxanne said in a hoarse voice, If you want to find the baby, check the surveillance or ask Macy. If none of that works, call the police. Stanley, aren’t you just taking revenge by making me look for my own baby after I gave birth?”

Stanley stared at her, the warmth in his eyes gone, replaced by scrutiny and anger. If I don’t make you find the baby yourself, you’ll never learn your lesson. Take her out and search every inch. Don’t let her come back until you find the baby!”

Roxanne could barely stand. She hadn’t eaten a bite or drunk a drop of water since giving birth. Her body was at its limit

The bodyguards followed orders, dragging her out of the hospital

But as they walked, she realized something was wrong. This wasn’t the way to find the baby. Where were they taking her

They shoved a rag into her mouth, tied her up with hemp rope, beat her until she passed out, and threw her into the back of a car

When she opened her eyes again, she found that Macy was lying beside her, also tied up

Stanley’s anxious voice came from not far away. Do you even know who I am? How dare you kidnap them? Are you tired of living in Brindley?”

The kidnappers laughed mockingly. Someone’s willing to pay for a life. We’re in the underworld, and we don’t refuse business.”

Chapter

隊

Stanley paused for two seconds before saying, Release them. Name your price, and I’ll pay anything

One of the kidnappers glanced at Roxanne coldly. Sure. The person who hired me only bought one life. I’ve taken two, and I could let you have one

Stanley, who will you choose between these two women?“.

From Kidnap to Collapse: I’ll Ruin Their Paradise

From Kidnap to Collapse: I’ll Ruin Their Paradise

Status: Ongoing

1. Promised forever

Roxanne Reid endures a brutal labor and finally delivers by C-section. Between pain and delirium she swears she will cherish this child for the rest of her life — the baby becomes the promise that will define her future.

2. The baby is gone

When she wakes from surgery, the baby is nowhere to be found. Panic spikes through her like a physical blow: all the relief and tenderness she expected after birth vanish the moment the cot is empty.

3. The betrayal revealed

Her husband Stanley Frey calmly informs her the baby has been given away — not to a charity, not to an adoption agency, but to Macy, Oliver’s fiancée. The news lands like betrayal: he made the decision without her consent.

4. Roxanne fights through pain to demand answers

Bruised and exhausted from two days of labor, Roxanne forces herself up and demands to know where their child is. Her voice trembles with pain and fury; this is a mother’s instinct colliding with the realization of being overruled.

5. Stanley’s cold justification

Stanley explains — almost mechanically — that the Frey family “owes” Macy because Oliver died, and giving her the baby is repayment or compensation. He frames it as kindness, family duty, and social obligation rather than theft.

6. Anger, disbelief, isolation

Roxanne is stunned and rage fills her. The rationalizations infuriate her: Macy “sacrificed” for the family, so she should have a child. Roxanne realizes she’s been isolated — even her husband now treats her like an obstacle, not a partner.

7. Flashback to their courtship

The chapter flashes back: Stanley once pursued Roxanne relentlessly for two years, learned her likes, and won her heart. She loved him enough to cut ties with her own family. Their marriage once seemed unbreakable — he had promised she was the one line he’d never cross.

8. The line crossed

Everything shifted after Oliver’s death and Macy’s arrival. The man who vowed constancy now crosses the line and makes decisions that betray Roxanne’s trust. What was once devotion turns into cold calculation under family pressure.

9. A desperate ultimatum

When Stanley prepares to rush to Macy’s side — “she’s a first-time mom, she needs help” — Roxanne, through pain, grabs his sleeve and threatens divorce if he doesn’t bring the baby back. It’s a raw, vulnerable demand born of love and righteous fury.

10. Threats, power, and a cliffhanger

Stanley sneers and seizes control of the phone; he belittles her concerns as romantic-novel dramatics and warns her not to push him. He reminds her, chillingly, that he’s capable of taking action against her. The chapter ends with Roxanne reeling from betrayal and the reader left on a tense cliff — will she fight him, or be crushed by the family machinery?
