When Stanley heard that it was about Roxanne, he unlocked his phone immediately. But what he saw next made his eyes turn bloodshot with rage

In the video, a bodyguard, ignoring Roxanne’s struggles, had buried his head in her chest, as ifhe were suckling on her breasts

That was what Macy meant by helping her with lactation

A tidal wave of regret and pain engulfed him

Damn it! He had no idea what kind of suffering Roxanne was going through at the time, and he had

even used the video to threaten her

That bitch Macy! She must’ve planned to release this video all along, so Rox’s reputation would be

ruined! How dare she!”

Stanley clenched his fists tightly, feeling as if his heart were bleeding

When Patrick heard Macy’s name, he immediately spoke up, Mr. Frey, we’ve already arranged for the video to be taken down right away. As for Macy, do we need to teach her a lesson?”

Stanley looked up. Find ten homeless men, and have them take turns helping with her lactation. Remember to film it. I want her to experience the same agony Rox went through!”

As soon as the words left his lips, he slapped himself across the face two more times

He couldn’t even begin to imagine how hopeless Roxanne must’ve felt, and how much she must’ve

hated him

As if wanting to punish himself, he played the video over and over again, watching Roxanne’s initial struggle give way to the hollow emptiness of despair in her eyes. Suddenly, he coughed up a large

mouthful of blood

Besides Macy, he was the one who had pushed Roxanne into the abyss

He knew exactly how severe Roxanne’s germophobia was, and yet he had believed Macy back then and allowed the bodyguard to violate Roxanne like that

His stomach churned, and suddenly, his vision went black, and he collapsed

In his dreams, he returned to the days when he and Roxanne were dating. Back then, when he had been too busy with work to eat, she would personally cook meals that looked incredibly appetizing, then deliver them to his office herself. She would even watch him, making sure he ate every bite

Stanley struggled to wake up. His Roxanne was as resilient as a weed. There was no way she could possibly be dead

But in the next second, he recalled how he had made his bodyguard drag her out of the hospital to

search for the baby right after she had just given birth, and how badly she had been injured after getting kidnapped

What ifWhat if his negligence had led to Roxanne’s death? He would have to live in pain and regret for the rest of his life. The regret and heartache were all driving him to the brink of insanity

He had always scoffed at all gods and religions, but now, he found himself praying at various monasteries and churches, begging the gods to keep Roxanne safe, even if it meant trading his own

life for hers

After three days and three nights of searching, Stanley collapsed in a church. Only then did Louis and Sapphire hear the news

When they found Macy locked in the room, her upper body was bare, her chest bruised and swollen

and the rest of her clothes in disarray. She was also on the verge of starvation. Their hearts broke for this youngest daughterinlaw of theirs, and even more so for Stanley

All of this was because of that bitch, Roxanne. Sapphire seethed in silence, thinking that Roxanne had better stay hidden, or the Frey family would be sure she died a miserable death

Just as Louis mobilized his connections to continue the search for Roxanne, they received devastating news from the doctorStanley, their pride and joy, had been diagnosed with male infertility

From Kidnap to Collapse: I’ll Ruin Their Paradise

From Kidnap to Collapse: I’ll Ruin Their Paradise

Status: Ongoing

1. Promised forever

Roxanne Reid endures a brutal labor and finally delivers by C-section. Between pain and delirium she swears she will cherish this child for the rest of her life — the baby becomes the promise that will define her future.

2. The baby is gone

When she wakes from surgery, the baby is nowhere to be found. Panic spikes through her like a physical blow: all the relief and tenderness she expected after birth vanish the moment the cot is empty.

3. The betrayal revealed

Her husband Stanley Frey calmly informs her the baby has been given away — not to a charity, not to an adoption agency, but to Macy, Oliver’s fiancée. The news lands like betrayal: he made the decision without her consent.

4. Roxanne fights through pain to demand answers

Bruised and exhausted from two days of labor, Roxanne forces herself up and demands to know where their child is. Her voice trembles with pain and fury; this is a mother’s instinct colliding with the realization of being overruled.

5. Stanley’s cold justification

Stanley explains — almost mechanically — that the Frey family “owes” Macy because Oliver died, and giving her the baby is repayment or compensation. He frames it as kindness, family duty, and social obligation rather than theft.

6. Anger, disbelief, isolation

Roxanne is stunned and rage fills her. The rationalizations infuriate her: Macy “sacrificed” for the family, so she should have a child. Roxanne realizes she’s been isolated — even her husband now treats her like an obstacle, not a partner.

7. Flashback to their courtship

The chapter flashes back: Stanley once pursued Roxanne relentlessly for two years, learned her likes, and won her heart. She loved him enough to cut ties with her own family. Their marriage once seemed unbreakable — he had promised she was the one line he’d never cross.

8. The line crossed

Everything shifted after Oliver’s death and Macy’s arrival. The man who vowed constancy now crosses the line and makes decisions that betray Roxanne’s trust. What was once devotion turns into cold calculation under family pressure.

9. A desperate ultimatum

When Stanley prepares to rush to Macy’s side — “she’s a first-time mom, she needs help” — Roxanne, through pain, grabs his sleeve and threatens divorce if he doesn’t bring the baby back. It’s a raw, vulnerable demand born of love and righteous fury.

10. Threats, power, and a cliffhanger

Stanley sneers and seizes control of the phone; he belittles her concerns as romantic-novel dramatics and warns her not to push him. He reminds her, chillingly, that he’s capable of taking action against her. The chapter ends with Roxanne reeling from betrayal and the reader left on a tense cliff — will she fight him, or be crushed by the family machinery?
