From Kidnap to Collapse: I’ll Ruin Their Paradise 14

Louis and Sapphire eagerly anticipated the birth of their grandson after they left. Little did they know how disgusted Stanley felt as he pinned Macy beneath him. He hadn’t expected them to have drugged him for the sake of Macy

He couldn’t bring himself to hurt Louis and Sapphire since they’d raised him, so instead, he vented on Macy in bed, driving her nearly to the point of collapse

Ah! Stanley, be gentle! It hurtsStop!”

The ordeal lasted for hours. Macy’s cries grew more pitiful with each passing moment. She didn’t feel a shred of pleasure, only the sensation that her body was being split in two, her lower half burning with pain

A sharp slap landed across her buttocks

Stanley’s voice trembled with lust and frustration, his movements sharp and reckless, like a wild animal lashing out. Didn’t you get into all this trouble just to get fucked, huh? And now you act

innocent

In the past, I treated you like a sister, thinking you truly loved Oliver. Are you proud of yourself, thinking the Freys could be fooled by a few words from you?”

As the drug began to wear off, he finally slowed down. He gripped Macy’s neck viciously, his anger at her combined with guilt and regret for Roxanne reaching a peak

Macy’s face turned red, her eyes rolling back

At the brink of suffocation, he finally released her

Consider yourself lucky. It would be too easy if I ended you now,he said. You’ll learn what it means to anger me!”

Roxanne’s life and death remained uncertain, and he intended for Macy to endure the same

suffering Roxanne had faced before disappearing

Macy wanted a child. Fine, he could give her that

Where that child would go after birth, however, was up to Roxanne

Macy gasped for air, fear pooling in her eyes as she stared at Stanley. From the first time she met him, he had always seemed gentle and polite. Especially after Oliver died, he had treated her with unrelenting kindness, doing whatever he could to give her what she wanted

She had thought he cared for her. But why would he believe a kidnapper over her

Luckily for her, she was ovulating today. If she got pregnant, he would forgive her for everything because of the child. Enduring fear and pain, she tried to crawl toward him, hoping to act coy like

before

But the next second, he kicked her off the bed

Stanley, you-

Before she could react, he slapped her hard across the face. This is your last chance. Tell me where you hid Rox. I never hit a woman, and you’re the first! If you don’t tell me, I’ll keep hitting you until you do!”

The previous slap had already left her dizzy and her face swollen. Another one could ruin her appearance. But she had no idea where Roxanne was

Who had taken the child? Who had taken Roxanne? Who was trying to ruin her

She pleaded, trying to invoke sympathy by mentioning Oliver’s death

Stanley, if you do this to me, Oliver will be sad! If you let me go now, I promise I won’t tell Louis and Sapphire you hit me, and I won’t bother you anymore either! Stanley, you wouldn’t want Oliver to be upset, would you?”

He sneered. I’ve already slept with you. What difference does it make?”

She froze, suddenly realizing she’d just dug her own grave. Resigning, she threw caution to the wind. You’ve already slept with me, and I’m legally your wife. How can you treat me like this

I’m going to give birth to your children in the future! Stanley, let me go, and we can pretend none of this happened.”

He sneered, thinking he’d finally seen her true colors

Pain shot through his chest. How foolish he had been, letting Roxanne suffer so much. Once he found her and the child, he would make it up to them properly

Tell me where the child and Rox are, and I can grant you an easy death. With every word, he

slapped Macy again

The pain brought Macy to tears, her face swelling until it looked unrecognizable, but he showed no sign of stopping

He had already tortured the captured kidnapper until he was barely alive, yet the man still claimed Macy had orchestrated everything and even pulled out a recording of their conversations as proof

By now, Stanley would never believe a word from her again. If she had planned the entire

kidnapping, there was no way she wouldn’t know where Roxanne was

Since she refused to spill the truth, he would keep hitting her until she did

Chapter 15

From Kidnap to Collapse: I’ll Ruin Their Paradise

From Kidnap to Collapse: I’ll Ruin Their Paradise

Status: Ongoing

1. Promised forever

Roxanne Reid endures a brutal labor and finally delivers by C-section. Between pain and delirium she swears she will cherish this child for the rest of her life — the baby becomes the promise that will define her future.

2. The baby is gone

When she wakes from surgery, the baby is nowhere to be found. Panic spikes through her like a physical blow: all the relief and tenderness she expected after birth vanish the moment the cot is empty.

3. The betrayal revealed

Her husband Stanley Frey calmly informs her the baby has been given away — not to a charity, not to an adoption agency, but to Macy, Oliver’s fiancée. The news lands like betrayal: he made the decision without her consent.

4. Roxanne fights through pain to demand answers

Bruised and exhausted from two days of labor, Roxanne forces herself up and demands to know where their child is. Her voice trembles with pain and fury; this is a mother’s instinct colliding with the realization of being overruled.

5. Stanley’s cold justification

Stanley explains — almost mechanically — that the Frey family “owes” Macy because Oliver died, and giving her the baby is repayment or compensation. He frames it as kindness, family duty, and social obligation rather than theft.

6. Anger, disbelief, isolation

Roxanne is stunned and rage fills her. The rationalizations infuriate her: Macy “sacrificed” for the family, so she should have a child. Roxanne realizes she’s been isolated — even her husband now treats her like an obstacle, not a partner.

7. Flashback to their courtship

The chapter flashes back: Stanley once pursued Roxanne relentlessly for two years, learned her likes, and won her heart. She loved him enough to cut ties with her own family. Their marriage once seemed unbreakable — he had promised she was the one line he’d never cross.

8. The line crossed

Everything shifted after Oliver’s death and Macy’s arrival. The man who vowed constancy now crosses the line and makes decisions that betray Roxanne’s trust. What was once devotion turns into cold calculation under family pressure.

9. A desperate ultimatum

When Stanley prepares to rush to Macy’s side — “she’s a first-time mom, she needs help” — Roxanne, through pain, grabs his sleeve and threatens divorce if he doesn’t bring the baby back. It’s a raw, vulnerable demand born of love and righteous fury.

10. Threats, power, and a cliffhanger

Stanley sneers and seizes control of the phone; he belittles her concerns as romantic-novel dramatics and warns her not to push him. He reminds her, chillingly, that he’s capable of taking action against her. The chapter ends with Roxanne reeling from betrayal and the reader left on a tense cliff — will she fight him, or be crushed by the family machinery?
