Chapter 90
Without even thinking, Rosalie had stripped off her soaking wet dress and gotten into the tub of cold water. Her flawless skin was visible through the clear water, and it was stunningly beautiful.
Julian’s eyes widened in shock. He looked away fast, his throat tight and parched.
He grabbed a thick towel from the cabinet, folded it into a square, and carefully cushioned the back of her
neck from the running water.
The cold water made her feel a little better, but it drained the last of her strength, and she passed out
cold.
He rummaged through the cabinet for a moment longer, then tossed a milk bath bomb into the water. A
rich lather quickly bubbled up, gently hiding everything from view.
Only then did Julian finally look back at Rosalie.
Lying in the tub, she still had an unnatural flush on her cheeks. Her soaked black hair was stuck messily to
the side of her face and her collarbone, making her look vulnerable and stunning.
Even when she was unconscious, her brow was still furrowed with worry.
His gaze was dark and intense, with a mix of emotions in it. He held his finger just above her forehead,
but he couldn’t bring himself to touch her.
Another knock came from outside. “Your clothes are here, Mr. Yarwood.”
He pulled his hand back, his expression turning cold. Then, he turned and walked out.
Meanwhile, Lucian went from room to room with his bodyguards, searching each one.
Every time they reached a door, someone would open it right away with an eager smile. “Take a look
around, Mr. Fenwick. We’ve got nothing to hide.”
Nobody dared to cross him. Besides Charles, he was the one person in the circle no one could afford to
offend.
Finally, they made it to the presidential suite, but Mason was there to stop them. “This is a private suite for Mr. Yarwood, Mr. Fenwick. You can’t go in there.”
Lucian’s face darkened. “All the more reason for me to check.”
With that, he tried to push right past Mason and go in.
The door opened from the inside. Wearing an expensive suit and gold-rimmed glasses, Charles carried himself with a cold, refined air, looking like he couldn’t be bothered to give anyone the time of day.

Lucian’s voice went low and dangerous. “Hand Rosalie over, Charles.”
Charles raised an eyebrow and snickered. “Rosalie? Do I even know her? Why would I have anything to do
with where she is?”
Lucian clenched his jaw. “Stop playing dumb. You’re the last person who saw her. Since she is missing, you must be the one who took her.”
Charles chuckled. “That’s ridiculous. Why would I hide a woman? Who would even believe that?”
He couldn’t help but ridicule, “Word is you blew up your marriage with Rosalie because of another woman. Funny how you came at me like a madman now and asked me to hand her over.
“Did your mistress fail to entertain you tonight? Is that why you’re throwing a fit at my door tonight?”
Lucian’s face turned grim. He bit out each word through gritted teeth, “Do you even dare to let me search
your room?”
Charles looked like he had heard the most ridiculous joke ever. “Why the hell would I let you do that?”
He took a step forward, his gaze cold and sharp behind his lenses. “Do you really think snatching a few deals from Yarwood Group means you can show up here and disrespect me?”
His tone suddenly turned sharp, as if he had lost all patience. “I don’t have time for lunatics like him.
Throw him out.”
As Charles turned to go back inside, Lucian snapped and lunged forward like a wild beast, rushing to the door. Without looking back, he slammed an elbow strike behind him.
The heavy blow sent Lucian flying backward. He stumbled back until his back hit the corridor wall with a heavy thud.
Clutching his aching chest, Lucian stared at Charles in disbelief. How was he so strong?
When Charles slammed into Lucian, the impact tugged at the wound on his back that hadn’t fully healed. He couldn’t help but wince.
He glanced back coldly at Lucian before heading back inside. “Don’t ever let Mr. Fenwick set foot on my
property again.”
