Chapter 66 Going All Out for Her

Chapter 66 Going All Out for Her

Rosalie smiled. “Mr. Skeldon, what Vertex Tech needs most right now isn’t just capital. It also needs a platform to prove its potential and a trustworthy partner for long-term collaboration.”

Howard’s expression shifted from curiosity to open admiration when he heard her words. He understood

immediately why even Charles had made an exception to grant her a bidding slot.

Rosalie was intelligent and had a vision. Spending 21 million dollars wasn’t just buying a project-she was

buying the unlimited possibilities of future cooperation with Vista Furnishings.

Compared with those executives who threw billions of dollars at projects without a strategy, her move

was far smarter.

Howard reached for the proposal Rosalie handed him. “I’ll review it carefully and give you an answer

within two days.”

“Thank you, Mr. Skeldon.”

Rosalie was about to turn away, but something made her glance instinctively toward the private box on

the second floor.

Charles, dressed in a tailored suit, stood there. At that moment, he looked down, and their eyes met

unexpectedly.

He wore glasses, and the lights traced the sharp elegance of his profile, a refined sophistication tinged

with an unspoken nobility.

Rosalie gave him a subtle nod from across the room, silently thanking him for holding back during the

auction. She had believed he could have bid higher at any moment, but he hadn’t, which surprised her.

Charles seemed to understand her unspoken message. His eyes flickered behind his glasses, and he

gave her the faintest nod before raising his glass and looking away.

Rosalie turned and left the auction floor with purpose.

Just as she rounded the corridor corner, a figure came barreling toward her, nearly colliding.

“Hey! Watch where you’re going! Bump into me, and you’ll regret it!” Edmond shouted, cursing under his

breath.

Rosalie recognized him immediately. “Mr. Fairbank?” she called out.

Edmond, who had been scowling, froze when he saw her. His arrogance vanished instantly, and his eyes widened in shock. “Rosalie? What are you doing here?”

“Attending the auction. It’s over now, and I have something else to do, so I’m leaving.”

Edmond’s eyes flickered. Then, he suddenly called out, “Wait-your birthday’s coming up soon, isn’t it?”

Rosalie paused, realizing that the upcoming weekend was indeed her birthday. She had been so busy that she had completely forgotten.

She asked, “How did you know?”

“Secret,” he replied with a mischievous grin.

Edmond leaned closer, lowering his voice. “Just so you know, your husband is preparing a birthday

surprise for you.”

He paused, then became serious. “So, Rosalie, don’t do anything to upset your husband.”

Rosalie frowned.

She wondered what she could do to disappoint Julian. She glanced at a message on her phone and said, ”

I’ll be going first.”

Outside the auction house, Ursula’s car had just come to a stop. Seeing Rosalie emerge, she leaned out the window. “Rosa! You’ve always hated these auctions, complaining that the prices are too high. So why

are you here this time?”

As such, Rosalie told Richard to head back to Vertex Tech first.

Then, she opened the car door and slid in, a small smile tugging at her lips. “Today is different. Even though it cost a fortune, it was worth every penny.”

Meanwhile, inside the auction hall, Camelia stroked the diamond bracelet she had just won, her smile gentle and radiant. Although she hadn’t secured Starlit Devotion, she was satisfied that Lucian had gone

all out for her.

But as they were leaving, Lucian’s eyes landed on someone in the crowd. Starlit Devotion now rested on Nydia’s neck, sparking brilliantly.

He strode forward and demanded, “Why are you wearing that necklace?”
