Chapter 59 She Is Married
The board meeting began as usual with a long, dull monthly report. Rosalie twirled her pen absentmindedly until the topic of Firmament System was brought up.
“We express our deepest regrets regarding the recent losses caused by Firmament System. Therefore, following the board’s preliminary decision, we will immediately remove Firmament System and replace it
with Skyvault system developed by Ms. Becker…”
“Wait.”
Rosalie rose to her feet and swept the room with a calm gaze. “Since its launch, Firmament System has
brought Stellar Group substantial profits. To remove it so abruptly will not only alienate our loyal users but
also cause significant contractual losses.”
William’s face instantly darkened when he heard that. “Sit down, Rosalie!” he barked. “You have no place
to speak out of turn here!”
But instead of sitting down, she went on, “I have a better solution. If you’ll allow me ten minutes, I’ll show
you a plan that can not only turn Stellar Group’s losses into profit but also attract an entirely new wave of
customers.”
Rosalie’s words sent the room into a stir as the board members whispered among themselves.
William’s face flushed with fury. He was just about to lash out when Alfred Wesker, an elderly board
member seated near the head of the table, spoke up, “Let her speak, Mr. Ashford. We can spare ten
minutes.”
Grateful, she nodded to Alfred and connected her laptop to the projector. As the screen lit up, an entirely
new framework spread across the display.
Rosalie presented the core insights she had extracted from Manfred’s works and combined them with
her own original ideas. The room fell silent.
When her presentation ended, astonishment swept across the room. Several board members who had
opposed her earlier found themselves nodding in approval, their eyes filled with admiration.
William’s face was as black as soot, but he had no choice but to admit aloud, “Well… this proposal is
impressive indeed.”
Then, changing his tone, he added, “However, given the critical importance of Stellar Group’s project system, I will need to discuss this thoroughly with the other directors before we decide on implementing
it.”
He wanted to stall and prevent her plan from succeeding.
At that, Rosalie narrowed her eyes. She wasn’t the only one who sensed something off. Several board members did as well.

As the meeting drew to its close, the board secretary gave a routine prompt, “Do any of the board
members have further matters to raise?”
“I do,” Rosalie said, standing up.
William’s patience snapped. He glared at her, his voice low and furious. “What in the world do you think you’re doing? This meeting is no place for you to stir up trouble.”
But she ignored him. Instead, she looked around the room and smiled. “Many seated here were close friends of my late grandfather. I trust that you all remember his will.”
Rosalie reached into her bag, pulled out a certificate folder, and held it up for all to see.
“I’m married,” she said. “Therefore, I am exercising my legal right to inherit 40% of Stellar Group shares.”
The room froze in stunned silence. Instinctively, all eyes turned toward William, since he currently held
those shares.
His face went ashen with disbelief. “That’s impossible! You can’t fool me with some fake document!”
Rosalie smiled and handed the booklet to the lawyer who stepped forward. “Please verify its authenticity for Mr. Ashford.” Then, she turned to William and said, “Mr. Ashford, let’s sign the transfer of shares today.
William shot to his feet and swiped the certificate from the lawyer’s hand. The marriage date read the 20th of last month, and he hadn’t heard a word about it.
