Finally, Fulbert said, “If nothing else, on this matter, Mr. Merritt and I are pretty much in agreement.”

Antony’s lips curled up: “Likewise.”

But soon, Fulbert realized that Sandria had already walked away.

He turned and left as well, quickly catching up to Sandria and wrapping his large hand around her slender waist, pulling her close.

“Why are you walking so fast? Aren’t you going to wait for me?”

Almost instinctively, Sandria tried to dodge away.

The large hand at her waist tightened a little.

Fulbert’s breath was right by her ear. “The collaboration between Skyline Technologies and your studio will have to continue in the future…”

“Besides, Florentino is still watching from behind. You just said I was your boyfriend, so we have to keep up the act to make it believable.”

Sandria stopped dodging, raised an eyebrow and glanced at him sideways, then played along very cooperatively.

To others, the two looked extremely close, whispering to each other in front of everyone.

Antony watched from behind, his brows so tightly knit they could crush a mosquito. The two really were close-this… was truly irritating.

Once they turned the corner, the piercing gaze from behind disappeared.

Sandria immediately pulled away.

“No one’s watching anymore, Mr. Ortega, you can stop acting now.”

As the warmth and softness left his embrace, Fulbert was momentarily dazed.

When he came back to his senses, he sighed helplessly. “You really are cold-blooded and heartless-use me and then toss me aside. If you were a man, you’d definitely be a scumbag.”

“Then I’d rather be a scumbag.”

Better that than having her feelings toyed with, being led by the nose, or used as a stepping stone.

Sandria shot him a glance, snorted coldly, and returned to the dining table.

After finishing their meal, everyone went home.

Meanwhile, Sandria took on a modeling research project from Antony, and except for meals, she was glued to her laptop.

While she was typing code, her phone on the desk suddenly started vibrating wildly.

She picked up the phone and saw that it was a call from Lynette.

“Sandy, I’ve sent you the studio location options. You can decide on the exact spot when the time comes.”

If you want to be a legitimate player, you need a team.

This was something Sandria and Lynette had discussed beforehand.

After choosing, the two discussed some plans for the future.

After the conversation, Lynette sighed.

“Sandy, you’re a genius. I think you were just blinded by love before. If you hadn’t dated Florentino, you’d at least be a company CEO by now.”

Sandria chuckled softly. “It’s not too late now.”

All these years, even though Florentino had held her back.

She never stopped moving forward; she had just kept her abilities hidden for a while.

With years of accumulation, Sandria believed that it wouldn’t be long before she had a place in Eaveton.

“Right, exactly. By the way, do you want to have dinner together tonight?”

Lynette invited her, and Sandria was about to agree when a message notification popped up on her phone.

She glanced at it, and her expression immediately darkened.

“Lynette, I don’t think I can have dinner with you. I have something to take care of first.”

After hanging up, Sandria looked at what was on her phone and sneered coldly.

As expected, she had always underestimated how low Florentino could go.

On her phone, a few photos had been sent from an unfamiliar number, along with a message.

“Sandy, I’ve kept everything you gave me safe and sound.”

The photos were of a contract, and Sandria knew its contents all too well.

It was the contract she had signed before, in which all copyrights and patents she was involved in belonged to Flo-

rentino.

It was proof of the time when her love was at its strongest-and, of course, proof of her foolishness.
