“Sandy, Fulbert isn’t a good person. He’s not as simple as he seems.” 

“Oh?” Sandria raised an eyebrow, her fox-like eyes devoid of any warmth, only mockery. “How come I never real- ized, Mr. Burnham, that you’re the type to talk behind people’s backs? So underhanded?” 

Seeing her misunderstanding, Florentino hurried to explain.
