Everyone’s expressions as they looked at Sandria shifted from disdain and amusement to shock, horror, and disbelief! 

Florentino’s mind was completely blown. Lying on the ground, he couldn’t care about his own disheveled state, only staring fixedly at Sandria. 

Sister… She is Ashlan’s sister? 

Then all the things he had just done and said… 

A wave of bone–chilling cold surged from the soles of his feet straight to the top of his head!

Sandria stepped out from behind Ashlan.

“Mr. Burnham, the Schroeder Group is hardly some unpresentable company. In fact, it’s the latest partner I’ve chosen. Surprised? Didn’t see that coming, did you?” 

She blinked, her smile as innocent and mischievous as a fairy.

Florentino couldn’t catch his breath; he felt a sweetness in his throat, and in a fit of rage, he coughed up a mouthful of blood. 

He staggered to his feet, looking toward Courtney, his voice hoarse and tinged with urgency. 

“Courty! Wh–what on earth is going on!” 

Courtney finally snapped out of her shock. 

Tear stains and the mark of a slap still marred her face, making her look utterly miserable. 

“Ashlan! I… I didn’t know Sandy was your sister, I… I was wrong, please forgive me! And spare Tino too. He didn’t mean it! Our Mosley family is related to your Schroeder family!”
