Not only did she team up with Fulbert to get under his skin.
She even turned around and cozied up to the Glottenham Schroeder family, whom he had once mentioned, and whom the Burnham family had gone to great lengths to befriend!
Did she even know what she was doing?
Naive! Ridiculous!
Florentino forcibly suppressed the inexplicable irritation and anger in his heart, straightened his expensive suit and tie, put on what he thought was his warmest expression, and stepped forward proactively.
He reached out directly to Ashlan, his posture just right–neither humble nor overbearing, yet showing respect to some- one of higher status.
“Hello, you must be Mr. Schroeder?”
“I’m Florentino from the Burnham Group, Courtney’s fiance. Technically, I should call you brother–in–law.”
He deliberately ignored Sandria standing to the side, just to embarrass her, to make her jealous.
But Sandria, seeing his self–important attitude, was momentarily stunned, finding it laughable, but couldn’t even be bothered to explain. She simply crossed her arms and prepared to watch the show.
Ashlan had already heard about him.
He had been looking for a chance to teach him a lesson.
Now that he was face to face with the man himself, he couldn’t even be bothered with pleasantries, directly ignoring Florentino’s outstretched hand.
He frowned slightly as he sized up the man before him, a hint of ruthlessness flashing in his eyes.
If he could, he would have someone get rid of him.
Seeing his silence, Florentino’s hand froze in midair, and the smile on his face stiffened, unable to be maintained.
He had no choice but to awkwardly withdraw his hand, yet still refused to give up, continuing to try to get closer.
“Our two families are about to be joined by marriage. Courtney is your sister, so I hope Ashlan will take good care of us in the future.”
After hearing this, Ashlan shot Florentino a cold glance,
“My sister? Who is Courtney? There’s no such person in the Schroeder family, so don’t go around claiming kinship.”

He let out a cold laugh–not loud, but enough for everyone around to hear clearly.
Ashlan’s voice was not loud, but it landed on Florentino’s face like a resounding slap.
Florentino was completely stunned, frozen in place, his face displaying a kaleidoscope of emotions.
“Um, Mr. Schroeder, isn’t Courty related to your family?”
Hearing this, Ashlan raised an eyebrow and replied coldly.

“I don’t know him, never heard of him, have no idea who he is. But I did hear that Mr. Burnham just got out of the station. You’d better behave yourself, or if you mess with the wrong people again, it won’t just be a fine next time.”
After saying this, he lowered his head to look at Sandria, his tone turning gentle and completely different.
“Let’s go.”
Sandria nodded and left right away.
She was almost dying of laughter.
Florentino had gone to great lengths to curry favor with the Mosley family, yet in front of Ashlan, he couldn’t even get his name mentioned. She really couldn’t figure out what he was thinking.
Ashlan put his arm around Sandria’s shoulders, turned, and got into the black Rolls–Royce, driving away in style.
Meanwhile, Florentino stood where he was, staring blankly at the backs of the two as they left.
His face quickly turned ashen.
Sandria, what a skillful woman–she could actually get Ashlan to go this far for her?
He even denied knowing Courty?
Besides, wasn’t it the Schroeder family who helped him out last time at the police station?

Meanwhile, in the car, Ashlan glanced at the man still standing there through the rearview mirror, his gaze icy cold.
“Are you sure you don’t need me to step in?”
Sandria shook her head, a flash of coldness in her eyes.
“No need, brother. I have to settle my own scores myself.”
“Besides, isn’t the family reunion banquet coming up soon? Everything will be settled then.”
