Alicia’s fan meeting was finally over, she was currently saying her goodbye to the other staffs and thanking them for their hard work today. To say she was exhausted was an understatement, her legs felt like they were going to give away at any moment, all she wants at this moment is a nice warm bath and to collapse on her bed afterwards. Despite saying she didn’t want to bother May since she wasn’t feeling well, Alicia had to go against her words because the fan meeting ended pretty late and she couldn’t go pick Diane up herself, so she had to call May and ask her to help her, she felt so bad doing that though, but May assured her that it was nothing and since she was feeling much better than earlier, she didn’t mind going at all.
“I think I should drive you home Alicia, you look super exhausted.” Daniel said.
Alicia managed to smile. “It’s alright Daniel, I can manage, and you’re also looking tired yourself, so why don’t we just go home and rest.”
“It’s really not a bother, I can take you home and then-”
“Come on Dan, I can manage, see you in three days time.”
“Why three days?” Daniel questioned, folding his hands across his chest.
“Tomorrow is Saturday, I’ll just work from home and I need to spend more time with my daughter, I might return to the company on monday, and before you say anything Dan.” She chuckled. “You know I don’t necessary need to be at work, I’m just coming to brighten up your day.” She winked.
Daniel couldn’t help but chuckle. “That’s a good one Alicia, you better run along now, and please say hi to Diane for me, it’s been a while I’ve seen her, I’ll keep it at the back of my mind to find sometime and visit, I’ve missed that little angel a lot.”
Alicia smiled brightly. “I’ll tell her. Goodnight Dan.”
“Get home safely.”
“You too.” She replied before leaving the hall.
Meanwhile, Adams has been in his car waiting for Alicia, he never thought the fan meeting will take this long, but he also didn’t mind having to wait for her, in fact he happily waited for her.
When he saw her approaching the parking lot, he hurriedly got out of his car, but he waited until she got to her car before running to her.
“Alicia.” He called just when she was about opening her door.
Alicia slowly turned to look at him, she didn’t expect him to still be around, and due to how tired she was, she’s also forgotten
about him.
“Oh God!” She mentally groaned. “Look Adams, you have no idea how tired I am, I really don’t have time for anything you have to say, all I want is to get home, so please just go your way and don’t bother me.”
“Alicia can we please just talk, just this once.” Adams pleaded.
“We have nothing to talk about Adams, and besides, why are you even here? Shouldn’t you be at home with your fiance.” She
stated.
“I..I don’t have a fiance Alicia, Bianca told me she ran into you this morning, I swear there’s nothing going on between us, I literally want nothing to do with her and she’s really not my fiance.”
“Fiance or not, it’s none of my business Adams, so please just get out my way.” She made to open her door, but Adams held her hand, and before she knew it, he was hugging her so tight.
Alicia immediately tried to push him off but he wouldn’t even budge.

“What the hell are you doing!? Get the hell away from me Adams!” She fumed, still struggling to push him off, but he’s just too strong for her.
“Please Alicia, please forgive me, all I need is your forgiveness, believe me when I say that I’m truly sorry for everything I did, I’m sorry for hurting you and making you go through so much pain and suffering, I’m really sorry Alicia, I’m really sorry.” He apologized in tears.
“Just grant me one more chance to right all the wrong I’ve done to you, all I need is another chance to prove myself to you Alicía, another chance to regain your trust.”

Being this close to him wasn’t doing her any good, her heart was racing so fast and she was literally trembling in his arms, has no idea the kind of emotions that was coursing through her at the moment, she just can’t explain any of what she’s feeling.
“This isn’t right, this isn’t right.” She kept on saying to herself.
“Please Adams, please let me go, I really wouldn’t want to have scream and have the security come here, don’t make me cause a scene and just let me go already.”
“I don’t care if you scream Alicia, I’m not letting you go.” Adams refused.
“If you don’t let me go right now I swear you’re going to
regret it!” Alicia threatened with gritted teeth.
Rather than letting her go, Adams wrapped his arms around her a little bit more tighter.
“I fucking can’t breath Adams!” She half yelled.
She was so thankful that she was putting on heels, she raised her leg and stomped his feet so hard.
That seems to do the trick. Adams let out a painful hiss and instantly let go of her.
“Alicia…I think you broke something.” He called in pain as he struggled to stand on both feet.
Alicia scoffed loudly. “Good, next time when I say let go, you let go.” She hissed. “And stay the fuck away from me!” She warned, she hurriedly opened her door, got in and drove off.
Adams was in so much pain that he couldn’t even do anything to stop her from leaving.
“Damn it!” He half yelled in frustration.
“I’m never giving up Alicia, I’ll never let you go.” He said with so much determination as he watched her car leave, only when he could no longer see her car did he return to his car, but he walked with a limp.
