Chapter 28

“How did it go?” Mike asked Adams as he returned to the living room with a bottle of whiskey and two glasses. 

“What can I say? It didn’t go well at all, she hates me so much Mike, and that damn bitch had to come add more fire. Why would she even do that? Why would Bianca do that!?” Adams spat, obviously still very angry. 

Mike sat beside him and poured a drink for both of them, the moment he filled up Adams glass, Adams took the glass and gulped everything down, Mike looked at him briefly before refilling his glass, and Adams did the same thing again. 

“It wouldn’t help if you kill yourself with this you know.” 

Adams took the bottle from him and poured himself another glass. “But it’ll help ease the pain a little, I can’t think of anything else than to just get drunk right now.” He replied before gulping down the glass and pouring himself yet another glass. 

“You know Mike, I don’t think Alicia is ever going to forgive me, each time she looks at me…all I see is nothing but so much hatred and anger in her eyes, so much hate for me.” 

Mike took a sip of his drink before replying. “You shouldn’t give up now Adams, she won’t get over everything in a hurry, you betrayed her you know, you betrayed the trust she has for you, you weren’t there when she needed you the most despite promising to be there for her at all times and promising her the world… I’m not trying to rub it in again, I’m just saying, you should understand her and her pain, I can’t blame Alicia but that doesn’t mean you should give up, if you truly love her and you’re so sure that you want her back in your life, then you should be willing to do all it takes to make that happen, no matter how long it takes to get her forgiveness, you shouldn’t stop trying.” He pats Adams shoulder. “And as for that bitch called Bianca, I made sure to teach her a lesson she’s never going to forget.” He smirked. 

Adams frowned in confusion. “What are you talking about?” He asked and Mike told him everything. 

“Seriously!” Adams exclaimed in surprise. 

“Yeah, she did deserve it and even more.” 

“Hold on, no matter how glad I’ll be if something else happens to her because she deserves it, I do hope no harm will come to her, I wouldn’t want you to get in any kind of trouble.” 

“Don’t worry about that Adams, although it’s a lonely area, it’s still save, I know that place like the back of my hand, you think I would take her to somewhere dangerous did you.” Mike scoffed. “I only wanted to teach her a lesson, but I can assure you 

didn’t 

that she’s going to be save there….as long as she uses her senses though.” He chuckled. 

Adams shook his head. “Thanks man, I kept thinking of what to do to that woman, how to punish her, knowing you did this does help me a little.” 

“You know I’ve always got you even though you tend to be a jerk sometimes.” Mike replied and Adams rolled his eyes at him. 

“Whatever.” He scoffed then he took a sip of his whiskey, a deep sigh escaped his lips as his head once more became clouded with thoughts of Alicia.

After wandering for what felt like ages to her, Bianca was able to get a signal on her phone and she couldn’t resist screaming in joy and she jumped around a bit despite being so tired. 

She felt like collapsing on the floor, her legs hurt so bad and her body was in so much pain, she’s worn out, hungry and dirty, everything just keeps giving her more reason to hate Mike and an even stronger urge to punish him for what he did to her. 

One would have thought the first person she would call was her mother, but no, she decides to call someone else, not a friend but someone who does all her dirty work for her. She didn’t think she would be able to get a good rest if she didn’t sort out Mike’s issue first, she wants him to pay for what he did to her and she wants that asap! She’s definitely going to do to him what he did to her and even more.

Chapter 28

The person she called picked on the first ring, she told the man she didn’t know where she was and didn’t have time to explain in details what happened to her until he gets there, eventually, he decides to track down her location using GPS tracker. 

When Bianca ended the call, she sighed in relief, the night was cold and she was literally freezing, she was putting on a sleeveless red mini gown which wasn’t doing her any good at the moment. 

“That bastard! If he was going to do this to me shouldn’t he have a least leave his jacket or something.” She complained bitterly. 

She hugged herself and rubbed her arms with each hand, while praying that the person she called gets there before she freezes to death. 

About thirty minutes later she heard a car honk and she dashed to where the car was with great speed and a man stepped out of 

the car. 

“Please open the car door Eric.” 

“Yes boss.” Eric replied as he hurriedly went over to the other side of the car and opened the door for her, Bianca waste no time in getting in. 

Eric who noticed that she was cold hurriedly took off his jacket, he didn’t think she would accept it though, but the moment he stretched it towards her she took it and put it on. After making sure that she’s alright, he went over to the driver’s side and got in. 

“Where to boss?” 

“Take me home.” Bianca replied. 

Eric nodded, he was about turning on the car engine when she spoke. 

“Are you available for a job Eric, an urgent one at that, I need to make sure that the bastard who did this to me gets paid in his own coins.” She spat, then she stared at Eric. 

“Sure boss.” Eric replied when he saw the deadly look in her eyes. 

“Anything for you.”
