Chapter 18 

“What are you doing here?” Adams questioned Bianca with a frown on his face, she was the last person he expects to see at his office because he already made things clear to her the last time and he’s so not interested in her. 

“Isn’t it obvious Adams.” Bianca replied as she catwalked into his office. “I wanted to see you so I came.”

“I already made things clear to you Bianca, I’m not interested in you so don’t waste your time and get the hell out of my office. 

Adams fumed. 

“But I’m interested in you Adams, and don’t worry, you’re only saying that now because you don’t know me.” She walked 

closer to him. 

Mike only watched the whole drama as it unfolds before him, he doesn’t know who Bianca is nor has he seen her before, with the way things are going, he was contemplating on if he should stay and see the end of all this or just leave the office and come back later, then he’s going to ask Adams who the hell this lady is and why she came into his office like she owns the place. 

“I brought you a gift.” Bianca smiled, then she dropped a black bag containing the gift the brought on Adams table. “It’ll be nice if we can share what’s in the bag together but then, I’m sure that won’t sit well with you.” 

Adams mentally rolled his eyes, he’s super stressed out and her presence is making things even worse. “I’m not interested in what you’ve brought Bianca, all I want is for you to leave and don’t forget to take your present with you, I don’t need it.” 

A hurtful look flashed in Bianca’s eyes, but she hid it so quick that it’s as if it was never there. 

“Shouldn’t you at least pretend to be nice to me? I came all the way down here just so I could see you and this is how you treat me?” She replied, a hint of sadness in her voice. 

Adams scoffed loudly. “I didn’t ask you to come here Bianca, you came here on your own free will and if you don’t leave now I’ll have to call security and have them drag you out of here.” Adams threatened coldly. 

“Adams you-” 

“Leave right now Bianca!” Adams half yelled, he then walked to where his telephone was and picked it up. “Or should we do this the hard way?” 

Bianca stared at him for sometime, her eyes holding nothing but anger, her plan failed, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to give up, she’s definitely going to be back some other time because she won’t easily give up on Adams, he means a lot to her and she must have him. 

“Fine then, I’ll see you some other time.” She smiled brightly. “Have a great day Adams and do take care of yourself please.” She winked at him before turning to leave. 

When she got to the door, Adams voice stopped her. 

“You should take your present with you because I don’t need it.” He said and she slowly turned to face him, for the first time, she looked at Mike who was still standing and staring at her. 

“I guess he’s a friend of yours, why don’t you have it with him instead, I can’t take it back Adams.” She smiled, blew him a kiss before leaving. 

When she left, Adams ran his hand through his hair, then he heaved a deep calming breath before going to sit down 

Mike also took a sit. “What the hell just happened? Who was that lady Adams?” He asked. 

“That’s Bianca, the lady my parents wants me to marry.” 

Mike furrowed his brow “Your parents are still on with the match making thing? Can’t they just let things rest and leave you 

alone?”

“I already made things clear to this lady that I don’t want her but then she’s just too stubborn and wouldn’t leave me He groaned. 

Mike chuckled softly. “I’m not surprised by that, no lady would want to leave a hot rich billionaire alone, especially not that one because she clearly looks to me like that kind of person that’ll go to any extent to get what she wants, so you better be prepared and get ready because you’ll be seeing a lot of her now.” 

“Well not in this office. I need you to inform the security and my secretary too, that lady should never be allowed in here again and if they let her come into my office like this again then they should be prepared to loose their jobs because I’ll be firing ever single one of them.” He said angrily. 

Mike didn’t need to ask him twice to know he was serious about this. “Alright, I’ll let them know, I am your manager after all.” 

He then stood up to leave. 

But as Mike wanted to leave, Adams stopped him, he took the bag Biance brought and stretched it towards Mike. “You should 

take this, I don’t want anything from that woman.” 

“But she gave that to you and you haven’t even checked to see what’s in the bag.” 

“Just take it and o 

go Mike or throw it in the trash if you don’t want it.” 

Seeing how stressed Adams was 

leaving. 

Mike didn’t want to argue any further, so he simply took the bag, thanked Adams before 

When Mike got outside Adams office, he opened the bag to see what was in it and he was shocked at the expensive wine he 

saw, the wine must cost a whole lot and Adams simply gave it to him. 

He turned to look at Adams door and he shook his head, he did feel sorry for him, his parents only care about their own 

desires, not bothering to think about what their son truly want, so much must be going on in his head at the moment, but he 

trust Adams will be able to handle it because he’s not the type that breaks down easily and he’s always going to be here to 

give him all the supports he needs as his best friend. 

He muttered a small thank you before leaving, not forgetting to pass Adams message to his secretary as well as all the 

securities in the building.
