When Jaxson lay down beside her she stiffened for a moment.
He stood too clase.
His breath lingered near her ear.
Jaxson noticed the flutter of her eyelashes,lay down in silence and turned off the light.
From beginning to end she was never exposed,
Charlotte fell asleep at some point and woke up with her head resting on the man’s arm.
Such a situation had never
r occurred before.
She lost focus for a moment.
Jaxson slept soundly, seemingly for the first time in front of her.
The man stood tall facing her, a corner of the window screen lifted,the porcelain white light faintly covering him, for a moment his outline was clear, yet also elusive.
Quiet, lazy, and arrogant.
It was all his fault.
Charlotte thought she was dreaming and wanted to reach out to touch until the man slowly opened his eyes, and she suddenly woke up.
Almost instantly,sat up from the hed
For a few seconds, Charlotte avoided eye contact
act and said, “I’m sorry,there won’t be a next time.”
She got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. Jaxson looked at the closed door lost in thought.
After Charlotte finished washing up,she was about to go to the wardrobe,but when she pushed the door open, she saw Jaxson standing in her closet area. The shelves, which had been filled with a variety of items were now noticeably empty.
Jaxson turned to look at her, with a hint of curiosity in his eyes, “Where are your things?”
“Threw it away.“She said without changing her expression, and had a ready excuse, “Anyway.it’s all things 1 bought with my own money.I can do whatever I wam with them.right?”
She took away everything she packed all of which were her own belongings.

Jaxson glanced at the left cabinet,where the jewelry and designer bags were still there Without much thought, he said, “It’s up to you.”
