Dorothy spread out the quilt, without changing her expression, and mumbled, “I couldn’t sleep well during my period, afraid of disturbing you.” 

Dwayne nodded, “Not taking a bath?” 

“Oh, I washed it now.” 

Dorothy picked up the ready pajamas and nervously entered the bathroom. 

In the years since she married Dwayne, she has never gotten into the habit of changing clothes in front of him, even though they share the same roof and taking a shower under the same roof still makes her feel uncomfortable.
